If you want to play games with an Xbox controller on your Tesla, use a data cable (not a charge-only USB cable that lacks the data transfer function) to plug your controller into your Tesla Model 3/Y&#8217;s main screen via the USB-C ports in the center console or the USB-A port in the glove box. If you prefer a wireless connection, or your controller cannot be connected to your Tesla via cable, just follow our guide down below.
Step 1. Buy a wireless adapter/dongle for pairing your Xbox controller. <a href="https://amzn.to/3HCaTTv">8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter 2</a> and <a href="https://amzn.to/3jyyigK">MAYFLASH Magic NS 2</a> are two of the most popular choices.
Step 2. Plug the wireless adapter into your Tesla via USB data ports. Use a USB-A to USB-C adapter if necessary. Please be aware that newer Model 3/Y vehicles don&#8217;t have USB data ports in the center console. You will need to use the USB-A port inside the glove compartment.
Step 3. Put your wireless adapter into pairing mode. 8Bitdo&#8217;s pairing button is on the bottom, whereas the Magic NS&#8217;s pairing mode can be activated by pressing the black button on the side until the light goes green and blinks fast.

Step 4. In order to put your controller into pairing mode, first press the Xbox button for one second until it lights up. Then, press and hold the circular pair button located on the back of the controller for three seconds.
Step 5. Once the wireless adapter and Xbox controller ared paired up, the lights on both of these devices will stop blinking. You will see a notification message on your Tesla&#8217;s screen that confirms the pairing.

If you want to turn off regenerative braking on your Tesla, you probably won&#8217;t find any disabling option in the menu. Because turning off regenerative braking is not possible on a Tesla. It is also impossible to adjust the regen on Tesla vehicles built since Q2 2020. Tesla Model S/3/X/Y vehicles built before that date can still be able to offer adjustments. If you drive a Tesla vehicle built before Q2 2022, your car&#8217;s main screen comes with an option to adjust regenerative braking. If you live in a cold area or your battery is fully charged, your Tesla vehicle would warn you about the regenerative braking is being limited. That&#8217;s because the battery is unable to receive the energy from the regen system and the battery&#8217;s management system temporarily turns off the regenerative braking feature. It might take up to half an hour for your vehicle to recover from that. In order to reduce the negative effects of this limitation, you can enable an extra feature for automatically applying the brake pedals instead of regen braking. Just go to Controls &gt; Pedals &amp; Steering, then turn on the &#8216;Apply Brakes When Regenerative Braking is Limited&#8217; option.

Not being able to turn off regenerative braking might sound dangerous on icy/snowy roads, but Tesla has a solution for this. EPA published a list of electric cars that scored the highest MPGe, which is the MPG equivalent of the EV world. Hyundai IONIQ 6 is the most efficient electric car, according to EPA. Electric sedan&#8217;s RWD Long Range version scored a 140 MPGe. The second most efficient model is the 2022&#8217;s champion, Tesla Model 3. Popular sedan&#8217;s RWD variant got an MPGe score of 132. The third most efficient electric car is also an American-made: Lucid Air. Co-founded by a former Tesla executive, Lucid Motors has also spent millions for its customly designed battery pack and electric motors. Despite being one of the most luxurious electric vehicles on the market, Lucid Air can achieve high efficiency ratings thanks to its extremely low drag coefficient: 0.21 cd.
Lucid Air Grand Touring costs $154,000 in US. It is three times expensive than the more efficient Model 3. But Air offers a luxurious interior, smooth driving experience, and much higher performance.

Germany To Test Wireless EV Charging On The Go

For the US market, Toyota has unveiled the brand-new fifth-generation Prius hybrid. Although Toyota will indeed sell the brand-new Prius as the Prime PHEV in Europe, it will be available in the US in both plug-in and non-plug-in models, with the latter now offering AWD for the first time.

Both models receive significantly improved specifications. Toyota combined a 2-liter four-cylinder fuel engine with an electric motor in the Prius Prime plug-in hybrid model to produce much more power than the previous model. This is partially due to the ICE&#8217;s increased displacement, but the electric motor is also unquestionably more potent than before.
Toyota claims that the plug-in Prius accelerates from zero to sixty in only 6.6 seconds, which is a significant improvement over previously. It appears that performance was a consideration for the engineers when they created this powerplant, which should increase driver satisfaction.
<h2>Toyota Prime Model More Sportier</h2>
The 2023 Prius LE will include six USB-C ports, a 17-inch alloy wheel, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It has also a blind-spot monitor and a rear cross-traffic warning.
