Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

According to Keogh, electrification has leveled the playing field, and all automakers in this segment are facing similar struggles with leveling up production. “I think a buyer would historically say, ‘I buy F-150, I buy Ram, I buy Silverado.’ Now they might be saying, ‘I’m going to buy an electric one.’
“That reset moment gives a competitive chance to come in, whether it’s Rivian or whether it’s us.”
If the company decides to go for it, the new Volkswagen electric pickup will compete with Ford, Chevrolet, Tesla, Rivian, and GMC. I believe they should go ahead with it the more the merrier.
