Fiat 600e is the first electric vehicle that Italian carmaker developed since FCA-PSA merger in 2021. All-electric B-SUV, also known as Fiat 600, is based on eCMP platform. Thanks to its compact design, 600e can travel up to 600 kilometers in city traffic when its 54-kWh NMC battery pack is fully charged. 
There are two trim levels for the new Fiat; 600e La Prima and 600e RED. The La Prima is also the launch edition, which is available in four colors (Sun of Italy, Sea of Italy, Earth of Italy, Sky of Italy) and costs €40,950 in, yep, Italy. 
Electric SUV comes with 10.25-inch infotainment display, 7-inch digital gauge cluster, 6-speaker sound system, auto AC, dusk and rain sensors, wireless Android Auto, CarPlay support, and hands free power liftgate.

Fiat 500e, or the Fiat 500 Electric is an affordable electric hatchback. It comes with two battery options: 24 kWh and 42 kWh. There also three body variants available: standard Fiat 500e with three-doors, Fiat 500e 3+1, and Fiat 500e Cabrio with soft-top.
Standard 500e vehicles only come with three-doors. 500e 3+1 does include a half door on the left side which allows passengers to access rear seats more easily. And the third variant, Fiat 500e Cabrio offers a retractable soft top roof, ideal for hot summers.

<h2>Performance</h2>
Fiat 500e 24 kWh has the least powerful motor which produce 111 horsepower and 199 Nm torque. It is enough for a top speed of 137 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 9.5 seconds.
500e 42 kWh, 500e 3+1 and 500e Cabrio offer 118 HP, 220 Nm of torque, thanks to a little more powerful front-wheel electric motor. 0-100 km/h run in 9 seconds straight, top speed electronically limited to 150 km per hour.
<h2>Design and Features</h2>
Front end of the vehicle almost fully closed, in order to increase its aerodynamic efficiency. There are tons of 500 logos all over the exterior and interior. Chrome details are also very eye-catching.
Top part of the dashboard comes with different kinds of trims. Infotainment display sits on the dash like a little tablet computer. You can connect your phone via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Standard display size is 7-inch, but upper trims will include a wider display with the same functionality. 24 kWh battery version, on the other hand, does not include any infotainment display. Instead, you get a smartphone holder that should make up for the lack of a central screen. 7-inch digital gauge cluster comes standard with all 500e models, though.
There are wireless charging pad and two USB-A ports inside the electric hatchback. Seats and steering wheel all are manually adjustable. There are lots of head and leg room, unlike other two-door hatchbacks.
<h2>Range and Charging</h2>
There are two batter options available for the Fiat 500 electric: 24 kWh and 42 kWh. Small battery option can only run 180 km on a single charge. Considering Fiat 500e is a city car, it will be enough for short commutes. If you need more that, 42 kWh options can be much more suitable. Large battery variants will get a 320 km range, according to WLTP test cycle.
Fiat 500e 24 kWh only supports 50 kW DC charging, when you choose a 42 kWh battery option rapid charging rate will increase to 85 kW. 24 kWh battery can be charged from 0 percent to 80 percent in 26 minutes, whereas 42 kWh battery can get to the same percentage in 35 minutes.

&#8211; Turn on the vacation mode or power-saving mode if it exists. (some EVs have deep-sleep modes optimized for these situations)
&#8211; Disable security mode, dog mode, etc. that might keep your car and its sensors awake.

&#8211; Make sure that your battery level is above 50 percent. Tesla even suggests that you leave your electric car plugged in if you&#8217;re going to be absent for more than a few days. Other manufacturers recommend leaving your car&#8217;s battery at an average charge level, neither full nor lower than 50 percent.
&#8211; Turn off any preconditioning feature. These settings might start your car without you knowing and preheat the cabin and battery pack in cold temperatures.

Step 1. Pull over your Tesla and shift it into Park Mode.

6.3 billion dollars investment in Morocco from the Chinese battery giant! Gotion High-Tech, one of China&#8217;s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturers, is investing in Morocco to manufacture batteries for electric vehicles. According to the Moroccan Agency for Development, Investments, and Exports, the Chinese firm has set an investment budget of $6.3 billion.
Morocco, which has vehicle factories of BYD, Renault, Peugeot-Citroen, and Fiat, has managed to attract another significant investment with the aim of becoming an international automobile export center. Gotion High-Tech, of which Volkswagen is one of its biggest partners, will use the batteries it will produce in Morocco to feed both local production and electric vehicle factories in Europe.

The good news is that this loss of range is only temporary, and EV battery will not be harmed in the long run. UK&#8217;s well known vehicle news website Autocar.com range-tested a number of electric vehicles in both summer and winter settings to see what range they lose in real life scenarios. Unfortunately, while the journal was able to test four similar cars in both hot and cold temperatures, the other vehicles were only tested in the winter, with the proper winter range being especially in comparison to the official WLTP-rated range where feasible.
Despite the fact that the study isn&#8217;t uniform across all models tested, it does provide some evidence of range decline. The four identical vehicles evaluated through both seasons revealed a range loss of up to 20%, with the <a href="https://www.licarco.com/porsche-taycan-turbo-s/">Porsche Taycan</a> suffering the most, and the <a href="https://www.licarco.com/fiat-500e-42-kwh/">Fiat 500e</a> suffering the least. The experiments were carried out in a closed loop, according to the journal. They used a 24.14 km route that had 4.18 km of stop-and-go traffic. The driving then continued for four miles at 50 mph and almost thirteen at 70 mph. Again, this isn&#8217;t a genuine range test from full to empty in the real world, but it does give folks a sense of the evident loss in frigid conditions.
The range testing also highlighted the significance of a heat pump for dealing with cold-weather range reduction, according to the report. When compared to their WLTP-estimated range, models with a heating system experienced an average seasonal range loss of roughly 25%. Those without a heat pump, on the other hand, lost roughly 34% of their estimated range.
