Mass production of hydrogen-fueled light commercial vehicles that can travel 500 km on a single tank has started.
🟢#Stellantis announced that it will enter the hydrogen fuel cell light commercial market with 8 models. Annual sales are expected to reach 10,000 by 2025.
🚚 It is stated that mid-sized models such as Peugeot E-Expert, Fiat E-Scudo can travel 400 km with 4-min filling, while Citroen e-Jumper, Opel Movano, Fiat E-Ducato and Peugeot E-Boxer can travel 500 kilometers with 5-min filling.
🏭Large vans are produced in Stellantis’ Polish factory, while medium-sized ones are produced in France.
💧The fuel cells for Stellantis’ hydrogen commercial vehicles will be supplied by Symbio. The company, which established a factory with a production capacity of 16,000 cells in France in December 2023, plans to increase the capacity to 50,000 by 2026. Symbio is owned by with equal shares of %33 Stellantis and France’s two world giants, automotive parts supplier Forvia and tire manufacturer Michelin.
