Chevrolet aims to undercut Tesla&#8217;s dominance in the US EV market with new pure-electric vehicles. The cheapest one in the range is called Equinox EV, named after a well-established ICE crossover in the market. The starting price of the all-electric Equinox is $30,000. With this price tag, Chevrolet positions Equinox EV in a car segment that no other competitor ever set a foot before. 
Equinox EV offered in five variants: entry-level 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, and sports trims 2RS, 3RS. The Equinox EV 2RS can be ordered with both FWD and eAWD drivetrains. The high-end version Equinox EV 3LT and 3RS comes equipped with 17.7-inch huge infotainment display, 21-inch alloy wheels, and optional 19.2-kW Level 2 AC charging functionality. GM&#8217;s hands-free autonomous driving tech Super Cruise is also optional for all Equinox EV variants. 
Side Not: Equinox EV is being sold in China as <a href="https://www.licarco.com/buick-electra-e4-gs">Buick Electra E4</a>. To be honest, Buick version looks way more intriguing than the Chevy. Nevertheless, these Ultium-based EVs packaged so well that they will definitely lure enough customers to hurt the competition.

General Motors launched yet another fully-electric Buick for Chinese market: a coupe-like sports utility vehicle called Electra E4. It&#8217;s based on GM&#8217;s modular Ultium architecture and comes equipped with BYD&#8217;s LFP Blade Battery cells. 
American carmaker used the ELECTRA-X concept to design its newest SUV-coupe model. Electra E4 also features GM&#8217;s next-gen cockpit system, which includes a huge 30-inch EYEMAX 6K infotainment display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, and wireless charging support for smartphones. 
There is a Buick Electra E4 GS (Gran Sport) variant as well. The GS version offers all-wheel-drive and an 0-62 mph acceleration performance of 6.2 seconds.

The Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has opened orders for the Seal U model. For the 2024 model year, there is a significant reduction in prices, almost $3,000.
Having surpassed the 800,000 sales mark in three years, the Seal U will initially come to our country only with the plug-in hybrid version. This motor option stands out with a starting price of $18,000.

The BYD Seal U Has Been Launched in China with a Price Starting at $18,040

⚡ Chinese ZEEKR极氪 announced a major update to its first car, the 001, by replacing over 2,000 components.
🔋 The 2024 Zeekr 001, available with 95 and 100 kWh battery options, now features an 800V architecture. This not only boosts charging speeds up to 350 kW but also significantly enhances the vehicle’s efficiency.
🟢 Transitioning to the new-generation thermal management system called PTM 2.0 along with the battery, the 4.9-meter electric crossover can operate efficiently in both high and low temperatures.
💨 The new 001 offers a single-motor option producing 310 kW (422 HP) and a dual-motor option capable of generating 560 kW (762 HP). Hence, it’s expected to have a starting price around $40,000.
🚗 Equipped with LiDAR sensor-based autonomous driving mode, a new infotainment system powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset, and numerous interior design changes, the exact price of the 001 will be revealed upon its release on February 27th.

⚡#BYD has revamped its popular electric sedan Han, which sold 220,000 units last year. The 2024 version of the car has been launched in China with a starting price of $25,000.
🟢The 5-meter sedan features a base model with a 150 kW motor, a 60.48 kWh LFP battery, and 110 kW DC charging support. All models come equipped with the new Level 2+ intelligent driving system, DiPilot 100, which has been in development for over 1,000 days. Additionally, the new generation intelligent suspension system, DiSus-C, has been integrated into the 2024 model to enhance Han&#8217;s comfort.

🔋The 2024 BYD Han boasts a range of 506 km (CLTC), which extends up to 715 kilometers in the version with an 85.44 kWh battery. During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

#Audi has introduced its first car developed on the all-electric PPE platform, the Q6 e-tron.
The Q6 e-tron, which is priced 10% cheaper than its sibling model, the Porsche Macan EV, developed on the same platform, stands out with both more compact and lightweight electric motors and a large prismatic cell-based massive battery.

Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

Audi Q6 E-Tron | 255 KM Range with a 10-Minute Charge!

An extraordinarily sophisticated flagship pickup truck is the GMC Hummer EV. A few years after its debut, GMC is now starting to manufacture the three-row SUV model.
General Motors&#8217; Factory Zero in Detroit-Hamtramck is currently producing the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV. According to the American automaker, GMC started assembling the first Hummer EV SUVs on January 30. Customers will start receiving their reserved cars at the end of the first quarter.
The Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV, which share the same Ultium platform as the Hummer, will go into production at the same plant. The all-electric SUV and pickup version of the Hummer is now being assembled.
During a business roundtable, Duncan Aldred, global vice president of GMC and Buick, stated that a significant ramp-up in manufacturing will be in the second half of 2023. Although Aldred also refrained from providing exact on-sale dates or projected production levels. The American truck manufacturer had reported receiving over 90,000 bookings for the Hummer EV&#8217;s pickup and SUV models. Duncan Aldred noted that about 50–60% of those reservations were for pickup.

The 2024 brand-new Hummer has three electric motors capable of generating up to 830 hp and AWD. It allows for reaching 0-60 mph/0-96 kmh in around 3.5 seconds. The SUV is 9 inches/22 cm shorter than the pickup. It retains the fascinating CrabWalk function that allows for diagonal driving as well as the capacity for a DC rapid charge at 800 volts and up to 300 kilowatts.
<h2>The first Hummer EV SUV was sold at auction for $500,000</h2>
A non-profit organization called Tread Lightly received $500,000 from the auction sale of the first production Hummer <a href="https://www.licarco.com/gmc-hummer-ev-edition-1">Edition 1 EV SUV</a>. The NGO promotes outdoor recreation via stewardship and educational initiatives. Their plan is to use the proceeds from the sale of the Hummer to finance trail preservation initiatives and to advance outdoor ethics.

2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Enters Mass Production

Buick has just unveiled the Wildcat, a stunning two-door design study that is an all-electric concept rather than a future product. It serves as a preview of Buick&#8217;s future design style as the company prepares to become a self-proclaimed luxury SUV producer.
It&#8217;s a little perplexing since the announcement was accompanied with a concept of a low-ground sports car. It may have something to do with the idea that, like so many other manufacturers. It has adopted a dual image since becoming a prominent brand in China, in which it sells a totally different portfolio of vehicles than it does in the United States.
<h2>Two-Door Vehicle</h2>
Buick now has a range of six models in the United States that are completely crossovers and SUVs. But it delivers twice as many vehicles in China. And it still provides sedans and hatchbacks. But it&#8217;s possible that the Wildcat EV concept is geared toward Chinese purchasers rather than Americans.
With its highly unusual profile shot that indicates it is truly a 2+2, a two-door vehicle meant to carry up to four people. The concept has much of visual appeal. The light clusters at the front appear to push out of the fenders. It wraps over the front of the hood, giving the car a particularly frightening appearance.

<h2>Better Interior Design</h2>
The Velite 7 (also known as the Weilan 7) is a rebadged and slightly reimagined Chevrolet Bolt EUV with Buick design influences. It has a little better interior that Buick already sells in China. In the United States, the business plans to release its first electric vehicle in 2024. An Ultium-based model that it hinted earlier this year. And it will unveil this summer, making it the first to sport the Electra label.
While Avenir will not be a standalone vehicle, most likely as a customized top-of-the-line trim with all the bells and bells and whistles touches.
