The Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has opened orders for the Seal U model. For the 2024 model year, there is a significant reduction in prices, almost $3,000.
Having surpassed the 800,000 sales mark in three years, the Seal U will initially come to our country only with the plug-in hybrid version. This motor option stands out with a starting price of $18,000.

The Q6 e-tron, which is priced 10% cheaper than its sibling model, the Porsche Macan EV, developed on the same platform, stands out with both more compact and lightweight electric motors and a large prismatic cell-based massive battery.

Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

🟢 Transitioning to the new-generation thermal management system called PTM 2.0 along with the battery, the 4.9-meter electric crossover can operate efficiently in both high and low temperatures.
💨 The new 001 offers a single-motor option producing 310 kW (422 HP) and a dual-motor option capable of generating 560 kW (762 HP). Hence, it’s expected to have a starting price around $40,000.

🟢The 5-meter sedan features a base model with a 150 kW motor, a 60.48 kWh LFP battery, and 110 kW DC charging support. All models come equipped with the new Level 2+ intelligent driving system, DiPilot 100, which has been in development for over 1,000 days. Additionally, the new generation intelligent suspension system, DiSus-C, has been integrated into the 2024 model to enhance Han&#8217;s comfort.

🔋The 2024 BYD Han boasts a range of 506 km (CLTC), which extends up to 715 kilometers in the version with an 85.44 kWh battery. During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

🟢Announcing that it will convert diesel mining trucks to electric in 2021 together with #ABB, #Hitachi shared that the first vehicle has been produced.
⛏️The giant truck started to be used in a copper-gold mine in Zambia. It climbs with an electrical connection that feeds the battery, similar to a trolleybus, while going to pick up load. When turning downhill while loaded, it recharges its battery thanks to regenerative braking.
🔋In this way, ABB and Hitachi completed the transformation with a smaller one instead of a megawatt-hour battery. They made this possible thanks to the regenerative braking ability of the huge electric motors seen in the prototype photo.
🔌Mining truck&#8217;s previously had a giant internal combustion engine with 16 cylinders and 2,534 horsepower. It will relatively reduce the impact of mining on the environment by ending diesel consumption and zeroing out emissions after the conversion to electric.

<h2>What to Look for When Purchasing A Pre-Owned Tesla?</h2>
If you&#8217;re on the market for a pre-owned Tesla, instead of only focusing on mileage, you need to learn more about the vehicle&#8217;s battery condition, the manufacturing date of tires, how many miles previous owner put on them, interior condition, how old is the low-voltage battery, etc. You should put the battery condition in the first place because it&#8217;ll cost an arm and a leg to replace. You should also look for any wear on the tires. Tesla tires are significantly more expensive than non-EV tires.
12/16V low-voltage battery also needs to be replaced more often on a Tesla than an ICE vehicle. Tesla vehicles&#8217; brake disks and pads could be used for years without any replacement, but you shouldn&#8217;t take your chances with them. Take a quick test drive with the vehicle and look for brake pedal stiffness or any different noise coming from the brakes.

Step 3. A bunch of available wireless networks will be listed on the display. Select the one that belongs to you.
Step 4. Put down your Wi-Fi password via the screen keyboard and press &#8216;Confirm&#8217;. It&#8217;s done!
When you connect to a Wi-Fi network, Tesla Model Y/3 will remember the credentials and automatically connect to the same network when it&#8217;s in the range. You might also save a wireless network even if it&#8217;s not in the range of your Tesla.

Tesla Model 3 and Model Y users occasionally report that their main screen is frozen, got stuck on a menu, or doesn&#8217;t properly work or respond. It&#8217;s not usual, but there is an easy fix for those kinds of problems. You need to restart/or reboot your vehicle&#8217;s main system.

<h2>A Step-by-Step Tesla Restart/Rebooting Guide</h2>

Step 1. Pull over your Tesla and shift it into Park Mode.
If you encounter any problem regarding the main screen while you&#8217;re driving, Tesla highly recommends that you don&#8217;t continue to drive and just safely park your vehicle as soon as possible.
Step 2. Put your hands on the steering wheel and hold down both scroll buttons/wheels.
Some other reboot guides tell you that you need to press the brake pedal while holding. This action doesn&#8217;t impact the restarting process. So, it&#8217;s not required.
Step 3. Keep holding down the scroll buttons until the main screen turns black.
The Tesla logo will appear on the touchscreen after a few seconds. It&#8217;ll take around 30 seconds for your Tesla Model 3/Y&#8217;s main screen to restart.
By following these steps, you will only restart your Tesla&#8217;s touchscreen. It doesn&#8217;t power your vehicle&#8217;s whole system off and on. If the screen still has problems while operating, you might try manually powering off the vehicle. Just go to the &#8216;Controls&#8217; menu and touch the &#8216;Safety&#8217; option. Then, press the &#8216;Power Off&#8217; button to power cycle the vehicle.

How to Restart/Reboot Tesla Model 3/Y?

Tesla vehicles are famous for their in-car entertainment experience. There are a bunch of games available for drivers to enjoy while charging their vehicles or spending some time inside the car. You can even use a game controller for better experience. A couple of games will also require you to connect a controller to play.
In this article, we created a guide to help you easily connect your Xbox controller to your Tesla Model 3/Y.
<h2>A Complete Guide to Connecting an Xbox Controller to Tesla Model 3/Y</h2>
If you want to play games with an Xbox controller on your Tesla, use a data cable (not a charge-only USB cable that lacks the data transfer function) to plug your controller into your Tesla Model 3/Y&#8217;s main screen via the USB-C ports in the center console or the USB-A port in the glove box. If you prefer a wireless connection, or your controller cannot be connected to your Tesla via cable, just follow our guide down below.
Step 1. Buy a wireless adapter/dongle for pairing your Xbox controller. <a href="https://amzn.to/3HCaTTv">8Bitdo Wireless USB Adapter 2</a> and <a href="https://amzn.to/3jyyigK">MAYFLASH Magic NS 2</a> are two of the most popular choices.
Step 2. Plug the wireless adapter into your Tesla via USB data ports. Use a USB-A to USB-C adapter if necessary. Please be aware that newer Model 3/Y vehicles don&#8217;t have USB data ports in the center console. You will need to use the USB-A port inside the glove compartment.
Step 3. Put your wireless adapter into pairing mode. 8Bitdo&#8217;s pairing button is on the bottom, whereas the Magic NS&#8217;s pairing mode can be activated by pressing the black button on the side until the light goes green and blinks fast.

Step 4. In order to put your controller into pairing mode, first press the Xbox button for one second until it lights up. Then, press and hold the circular pair button located on the back of the controller for three seconds.
Step 5. Once the wireless adapter and Xbox controller ared paired up, the lights on both of these devices will stop blinking. You will see a notification message on your Tesla&#8217;s screen that confirms the pairing.

Your wireless adapter might lose the connection between your Tesla and the Xbox controller. You just need to unplug the adapter and plug it into the car again. The controller will be paired with your car in a few seconds. If you experience this issue often, you might need to contact your seller and ask about the wireless adapter&#8217;s firmware update status. Sometimes a small update could fix these disconnection problems.
