EX30 is not only the smallest but also the cheapest Volvo EV to date. It’s based on the modular SEA platform, like EX30’s Geely-equivalent sibling called Zeekr X. While it’s tiny on the outside, EX30’s interior will make you feel like it’s spacious. Similar to Tesla’s Model Y, Volvo only uses a 12.3-inch infotainment display powered by Google’s Android Automotive OS.
The only downside is that EX30 is going to be produced only in China. That means you won’t be getting any federal tax return if you purchase a Volvo EX30. Swedish brand will open books later this year. First deliveries will be held early 2024.
