About Volkswagen ID.5 GTX
Volkswagen ID.5 and ID.5 GTX are the first electric coupe vehicles that the German carmaker unveiled. ID.5 is based on Volkswagen’s latest modular EV platform called MEB. It is the coupe version of the electric SUV VW ID.4. Coupe-style EV will be offered in three versions; ID.5 Pro, ID.5 Pro Performance, the sportier version ID.5 GTX.
ID.5 Pro and Pro Performance come with a single-motor setup that produces up to 204 HP, 310 Nm of torque. On the other hand, ID.5 GTX has an all-wheel-drive system with dual electric motors. GTX version can produce 299 HP and 472 Nm torque. All versions of the ID.5 are equipped with a 77-kWh battery pack. VW ID.5 production will start at German automaker’s Zwickau factory in Germany.
