Leapmotor T03 is the first vehicle that Chinese EV start-up manufactured at its own factory. It was originally produced by the FAW in Changchun, China from May 2020 to July 2021. After opening its first manufacturing facility in Zhejiang region, Leapmotor shifted T03’s production to the new factory.
Compact EV comes with two battery options; 31.9-kWh standard range and 41-kWh long range model. Unlike other budget-friendly Chinese EVs such as Wuling MINI EV, Baojun KiWi EV, Leapmotor T03 supports up to 20-30 kW DC charging speeds. Drivers can charge their T03s from 30 to 80 percent in 36 minutes.
