The vehicle, set to go on sale in the first half of 2025 in South Korea and the U.S., will later arrive in Europe and Turkey. With a length exceeding 5 meters and a 3.13-meter wheelbase, the Ioniq 9 is one of Hyundai’s largest vehicles, developed as a fully electric vehicle on the E-GMP platform with an 800V electrical architecture. The 7-seater SUV, equipped with a 110.3 kWh battery, achieves a 620 km range in the 160 kW rear-wheel drive configuration. In the dual-motor setup, the motor power increases to 230 kW, and in the performance model, it reaches 320 kW (435 HP). The range drops to 557 km and 510 km, respectively. The middle row seats of the three-row Ioniq 9 can be rotated to face rearward, similar to the Kia EV9. When the rearmost seats are folded, the standard 620-liter trunk capacity expands to 1,323 liters. The front trunk offers 88 liters of storage (52 liters in the dual-motor model). To enhance aerodynamic efficiency, Hyundai integrated the antennas for internet, radio, and GPS into the glass and pillars at the front and rear. Additionally, the V2L support has been upgraded, with USB-C ports powered directly by the large battery, offering up to 100W of power output. Although the 160 kW motor places it in the 40% special consumption tax bracket, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 is expected to be priced above 4 million lira in Turkey. Its starting price in the U.S. will be around $60,000.
