<p>Mercedes EQS is a luxury electric sedan, direct competitor to the Tesla Model S Plaid. It is the first electric Mercedes that designed on a purely EV intended vehicle platform. German carmaker uses its new design language called ‘bow design’. Its drag coefficient is only 0.20, it is one of the most aerodynamical vehicle in the world.</p>
<p>EQS can produce up to 761 horsepower and a mind-boggling 1,020 Nm torque. AMG version of the luxury electric sedan can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. AMG EQS 53 and the EQS 580 4MATIC variants are capable of all-wheel drive. All Mercedes EQS models come with a huge 108-kWh battery pack, offer up to 770 kilometers of range. It takes only 31 minutes to charge EQS from 10% to 80%, thanks to 200 kW DC charging support.</p>
<p>Mercedes has been producing the new luxury sedan EQS at Factory 56 in Sindelfingen, Germany. EQS is already available in some European countries, pricing starts at around €120,000 and goes all the way up to €200,000.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Mercedes AMG EQS 53, top of the line version, can produce 761 HP and 1,020 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 250 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h only takes 3.4 seconds. Dual motor all-wheel drive AMQ EQS is not as fast as Lucid Air or Tesla Model S though, but it is still one of the fastest AMG vehicles on the market.</p>
<p>EQS 580 4MATIC comes with two electric motors and an AWD drive system, as well. It has 523 HP, 855 Nm torque, and 210 km/h top speed. It can complete a run from 0 to 100 km per hour in 4.3 seconds. Rear-wheel drive version of the luxury electric sedan, the EQS 450 has only 333 HP and 568 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h performance is around six seconds.</p>
<p>Rear-wheel steering is an option with the luxury electric sedan. It improves the high-speed stability, very helpful with the tight turns as well. When you’re going slowly, EQS will move its rear wheels the opposite direction and enable a narrower turning cycle which is very useful when driving around the city.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Mercedes EQS does not look as fancy as the concept it is based on which is called Vision EQS. But it is indeed a head turner, beautifully designed long body looks really sleek, and the frameless windows are very impressive. Front grille is fully closed as usual, and the headlights carry the distinctive look of every other EQ-series electric vehicle has.</p>
<p>There are dozens of little Mercedes logos all throughout the front of the vehicle. Trunk cannot be opened, because of the aerodynamical reasons. For what it’s worth, Mercedes EQS is one of the most aero-efficient vehicles on earth right now.</p>
<p>Interior of the EQS is dominated by the huge cluster of displays, or the ‘MBUX Hyperscreen’ as Mercedes calls it. It consists of three separate displays sitting beneath the extremely durable Corning Gorilla Glass.</p>
<p>Door handles pop up, like the latest Mercedes S-Class. All four doors open and close automatically as well, adding quite a bit of luxury. You can also control all doors electronically via central screen.</p>
<p>Head-up display has a very unique feature called “Augmented Reality Navigation”. Huge HUD can basically trick you to believe that it projects navigation instructions directly onto the road ahead. This AR sat-nav technology is only available as a camera feed feature in other Mercedes EQ models.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>All three versions of the EQS will have a whopping battery capacity of 108 kWh. AMG EQS offers 580 km range, according to WLTP test cycle. EQS 450 has a range of 770 km, longest range among three variants. AWD EQS 580’s range is around 680 kilometers.</p>
<p>Mercedes EQS supports 200 kW DC charging, from 10% charge to 80% in 31 minutes. It has a built-in 22 kW AC charger, fully charging the EQS only takes 5 hours.</p>

<h2><strong><u>Overview</u></strong></h2>
<p>BMW iX3 is basically the electrified version of the German automaker’s classic midsize SUV X3. It has a rear-wheel electric drive unit that produces 286 HP and 400 Nm torque. 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.8 seconds. Range of the vehicle is 460 kilometers when battery is full. Top speed is electronically limited to 180 km per hour. But because of its electric motor delivering the maximum torque instantly, BMW iX3 has a way better acceleration performance than similarly sized SUVs on the same price range.<br />
BMW iX3’s production started in 2020, at the same BMW facility in Germany where ordinary X3 manufactured. BMW just swapped the combustion engine with an electric motor, put a battery pack on the floor and changed almost nothing from the X3. Exterior and interior design have not changed, only added some blue accent color (frozen grey in some color options) around the vehicle and bumpers to remind customers that this is a purely electric SUV.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Rear-wheel drive electric motor on the BMW iX3 can produce 286 horsepower and 400 Nm torque. It can go from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 sec. Some road tests show even better results!<br />
BMW iX3’s grip and traction on the road is phenomenal. Part of the reason for that is battery pack of the vehicle sits really low down, and it lowers the central gravity significantly lower than a standard SUV. As a result, iX3’s driving performance is very outstanding.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>BMW’s classic kidney shaped front grille is almost fully closed in BMW iX3, the reason is that electric cars doesn’t need much air cooling compared to combustion engines. By closing front end of the vehicle, automakers can also make EVs be more aerodynamical and consume less energy.<br />
One of the most sophisticated feature of the BMW iX3 is the acceleration, start/stop engine and other futuristic UI sounds composed by the famous artist Hans Zimmer. These special sounds will definitely increase the EV driving experience.<br />
iX3 drivers can enjoy 10.2-inch full-touch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. BMW integrates its newest operating system into the iX3 which allows voice and gesture controls over the multimedia features. There is also a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster screen behind the steering wheel and an inductive charging pad in the lower part of the central console.<br />
For seating setup, German carmaker does offer animal-free seats as a more environmentally friendly option. Passenger seats are pretty usual among BMW cars, two USB-C ports and climate controls are available to back row passengers. They can also recline their seats for a more comfortable driving position.</p>

<p>BMW iX3 has an 80-kWh battery pack. Thanks to 150 kW DC charge support, charging the vehicle from 0 to 80 percent in 34 minutes.</p>

<p>No, BMW iX3 does not come with a dual motor, AWD option. iX3 only has a single motor rear-wheel drive setup available in 2021.</p>

<p>BMW iX3 costs around 59,730 pounds in the UK and 67,300 euros in Germany. In China, where iX3 also being built, price of the electric SUV starts from 399,900 yuan. It is available to order in almost all of the European countries. But BMW said iX3 will not coming to the United States.</p>

<p>Mercedes EQB is a 7-seater electric SUV made its debut in China. It is the electrified version of the GLB. Thanks to its 2.8 meters long wheelbase, EQB offers quite a lot of space on the interior.</p>
<p>The electric SUV currently has only two AWD options: EQB 300 4MATIC and EQC 350 4MATIC. Mercedes will also unveil front-wheel-drive versions of the vehicle for the European countries. Dual motor all wheel drive EQB offers up to 292 HP and 520 Nm torque. Top speed is limited to 160 kilometers per hour. It can be charged with 100 kW DC plugs, reaching 80 percent charge takes only 32 minutes.</p>
<p>Mercedes EQB will be produced in China for local market, and in Hungary for the global market. Customers from United States will also be able to purchase the new 7-seater Mercedes. EQB is coming to China in 2021, while European and American customers will have to wait until 2022 to buy this long electric vehicle.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>EQB has two all-wheel drive options with different performance figures. EQB 300 4MATIC has 228 HP and 390 Nm torque, whereas the more powerful EQB 350 4MATIC can produce 292 horsepower and 560 Nm torque; it only takes 6.2 seconds for this model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The less powerful version EQB 300 needs 8.0 seconds to complete the same acceleration.</p>
<p>Both versions of the EQB are electronically limited to a 160 kilometers per hour top speed. Thanks to its battery heating pump and the advanced software, EQB will always be prepared for a quick run.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Similar to Mercedes EQC and more affordable Mercedes EQA, EQB is also based on an existing Merc which is the family SUV GLB. Main selling point of this new electric vehicle is the 7-seater option. It even comes as standard in China. Generous space on the interior and high cargo capacity when the seats folded are the biggest pros of this long electric SUV.</p>
<p>Distinctive boxy design of the GLB series also applied to the new EQB. It has a front grille that completely closed, in order to increase aerodynamic efficiency. There are tons of chrome details all around the exterior if you choose AMG Line trim. Both head and taillights are designed as full length lightbars, creating a very recognizable front and rear face.</p>
<p>There are two 7-inch displays on the inside, one acting as a digital information panel and the other as an infotainment screen. 10.25” screens are optional in the EQB. Steering wheel is also very useful with its physical and capacitive buttons, you can adjust most of the features with those controls while only looking at the road and checking the digital gauge cluster for more.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>Mercedes EQB comes with a battery pack that offers 66.5 kWh useable capacity. 100 kW DC charging is supported. Mercedes says EQB can maintain the maximum charging rate for a very long time thanks to its heating pump. Getting from 10 percent to 80 percent of charge will only takes 32 minutes. 11 kW AC charging allows a 5 hours 45 minutes full charge time.</p>

<p>Audi e-tron is the first fully electric vehicle from the Volkswagen Group brand Audi. It was premiered in 2018 Geneva Motor Show. e-tron described as a luxury electric SUV. It has up to 408 horsepower and 664 Nm torque, thanks to its dual motor powertrain.</p>
<p>At the time of e-tron’s launch, Audi hasn’t finished with its new vehicle platform dedicated to EVs. Because of that, Audi used Q7’s underpinnings as a reference for this electric SUV. It does fell very heavy as a result. But performance-wise e-tron 55 is capable to do 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.</p>
<p>There are two variants of e-tron, alongside different body options which are the standard e-tron and the e-tron Sportback.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>e-tron 50 quattro and e-tron Sportback 50 quattro models have 71 kWh battery, 308 horsepower dual motor AWD drivetrain. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Top speed is 190 km/h and energy consumption around 22 kWh/100 km.</p>
<p>More powerful version of the electric SUV, e-tron 55 quattro and e-tron Sportback 55 quattro produce 408 HP and 540 Nm torque. These versions packed with bigger battery, a capacity of 95 kWh. Thanks to 100 extra horsepower, e-tron 55 can run 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 km/h.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>As from the look of it, you can safely say that Audi e-tron is a spacious vehicle. It even has a 7-seat option. e-tron’s unique grille is the most important element keeping it apart from the combustion engine Audis. The grille has vertical lines and due to the aerodynamics partially closed.</p>
<p>Audi e-tron has charging ports on each side and charge doors automatically lift open and close with push of a button.</p>
<p>Exterior of the e-tron does not look beyond its time or anything, unlike most other EVs. Because Audi wants its customers to feel like they’re driving a vehicle not much different than petrol/diesel engine cars. German carmaker accomplished that so far with the e-tron models.</p>
<p>On the inside, virtual cockpit display behind the steering wheel provides you with tons of features via steering wheel controls, as a result, you don’t need to use other screens very often. 12.1-inch infotainment system in the e-tron supports wireless Apple CarPlay. Audi just recently started supporting the wireless Android Auto, as well.</p>
<p>There is a secondary display just below the infotainment system. 8.9-inch screen is mostly dedicated to climate control. But when you want to enter a destination to the navigation system, this screen turns into a pad where you can easily write your destination. Back seat passengers also have a climate control touchscreen, and two USB ports for charging their mobile devices.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>Audi e-tron 50 and e-tron Sportback 50 have a 71-kWh battery pack, while e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback 55 have a much bigger 95-kWh capacity. e-tron models with smaller battery have a range of 347 kilometers in the WLTP cycle, whereas e-tron 55 models offer 453 km of range.</p>
<p>DC charging speed is 120 kW with e-tron 50, and 150 kWh with e-tron 55. Charging the vehicle from 10 percent of SOC to 80% will take less than 30 minutes. Newest versions of the e-tron can be equipped with 22-kW on-board AC charger, but standard vehicles only have the 11-kW charger.</p>

<p>Avatr 12 is the second EV that Huawei, CATL and Changan Auto consortium co-developed. It&#8217;s a fully electric &#8216;shooting brake&#8217; designed by former BMW designer Nader Faghihzadeh. Avatr&#8217;s three Chinese shareholders invested in a dedicated EV platform with a 800-volt electrical architecture called CHN and the 12 is the second after Avatr 11 to be based on this unique vehicle platform.<br />
Huawei is the main technology provider of the Avatr 12. It comes equipped with Huawei&#8217;s DriveONE drivetrain, which is capable of delivering up to 578-horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. It also features Huawei&#8217;s HarmonyOS operating system, ADS 2.0 autonomous driving and ADAS platform, SiC inverter, heat pump system, HD cameras, and sensors. This vehicle is a carnival of Huawei&#8217;s automotive solutions.</p>
