<p><strong>BYD Song Plus EV</strong> is the fully electric version of the Chinese automaker&#8217;s popular mid-size SUV. It has launched onto the market in April 2021. Song Plus is the brand&#8217;s second model that carries its latest design iteration &#8216;Dragon Face 3.0&#8217;. It is currently being built at BYD&#8217;s Xi&#8217;an factory alongside the hybrid Song Plus DM-i in China. Song Plus EV pricing starts at around $27,500 in its home country.<br />
BYD uses its proprietary lithium-ion battery cell technology called &#8216;Blade Battery&#8217; inside the Song Plus EV&#8217;s 71.7-kWh battery pack. These battery cells are made of LFP cathodes and tend to be safer, cheaper, and durable. Song Plus EV can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 74 minutes, thanks to its support for up to 90 kW DC charging speeds.<br />
There is a 12.8-inch infotainment display that can be used both horizontally and vertically. The central touchscreen will automatically rotate when the driver changes the position. DiLink 3.0 software offers many applications such as Wechat,   TikTok, YouKu, etc.<br />

<p>BYD Yangwang U9 is not only the first sports car BYD designed, it is also one of the first vehicles that uses Chinese giant&#8217;s newly-developed 800V electrical architecture, which is made possible with a high-efficiency SiC inverter. U9 also comes with active aero systems including a huge spoiler for better driving performance. The other model that will benefit from this new tech is the off-road SUV <a href="https://www.licarco.com/byd-yangwang-u8">BYD U8</a>.<br />
Chinese automaker equipped BYD U9 with a self-developed suspension called DiSus-X, which described as U9&#8217;s magic body control system. BYD says it&#8217;s the world&#8217;s first intelligent hydraulic body control technology. Yangwang U9&#8217;s suspension is so advanced that it can be driven on three wheels, or even jump  a little while standing still.<br />

<p>Fiat 500e, or the Fiat 500 Electric is an affordable electric hatchback. It comes with two battery options: 24 kWh and 42 kWh. There also three body variants available: standard Fiat 500e with three-doors, Fiat 500e 3+1, and Fiat 500e Cabrio with soft-top.</p>
<p>Standard 500e vehicles only come with three-doors. 500e 3+1 does include a half door on the left side which allows passengers to access rear seats more easily. And the third variant, Fiat 500e Cabrio offers a retractable soft top roof, ideal for hot summers.</p>
<p>Pricing of the small electric Fiat starts at €23,500 with 24 kWh version. Most expensive version of the Fiat 500e is the Cabrio which priced at around €30,000. Final pricing can be different in your country. Be sure to check out Fiat’s official website and your local dealerships for a quote.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Fiat 500e 24 kWh has the least powerful motor which produce 111 horsepower and 199 Nm torque. It is enough for a top speed of 137 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 9.5 seconds.</p>
<p>500e 42 kWh, 500e 3+1 and 500e Cabrio offer 118 HP, 220 Nm of torque, thanks to a little more powerful front-wheel electric motor. 0-100 km/h run in 9 seconds straight, top speed electronically limited to 150 km per hour.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Front end of the vehicle almost fully closed, in order to increase its aerodynamic efficiency. There are tons of 500 logos all over the exterior and interior. Chrome details are also very eye-catching.</p>
<p>Top part of the dashboard comes with different kinds of trims. Infotainment display sits on the dash like a little tablet computer. You can connect your phone via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Standard display size is 7-inch, but upper trims will include a wider display with the same functionality. 24 kWh battery version, on the other hand, does not include any infotainment display. Instead, you get a smartphone holder that should make up for the lack of a central screen. 7-inch digital gauge cluster comes standard with all 500e models, though.</p>
<p>There are wireless charging pad and two USB-A ports inside the electric hatchback. Seats and steering wheel all are manually adjustable. There are lots of head and leg room, unlike other two-door hatchbacks.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>There are two batter options available for the Fiat 500 electric: 24 kWh and 42 kWh. Small battery option can only run 180 km on a single charge. Considering Fiat 500e is a city car, it will be enough for short commutes. If you need more that, 42 kWh options can be much more suitable. Large battery variants will get a 320 km range, according to WLTP test cycle.</p>
<p>Fiat 500e 24 kWh only supports 50 kW DC charging, when you choose a 42 kWh battery option rapid charging rate will increase to 85 kW. 24 kWh battery can be charged from 0 percent to 80 percent in 26 minutes, whereas 42 kWh battery can get to the same percentage in 35 minutes.</p>

<p>BYD Seagull is the cheapest EV Chinese automaker offers under its Ocean Series, which includes BYD Seal, Atto 3, and BYD Dolphin. It officially launched in April 2023. The standard range version of the compact EV with 30-kWh battery and 305 km of range costs 73,800 CNY ($10,700). BYD Seagull&#8217;s 405-km range version is priced higher at $13,000, or 89,800 CNY in China.<br />
There is a 10.1-inch infotainment display, NFC phone key feature, four airbags, and BYD&#8217;s DiLink operating system inside the BYD Seagull. Its feature-rich interior is a serious rival to <a href="https://www.licarco.com/leapmotor-t03">Leapmotor T03</a>.<br />
