<p>BYD Seal is the Chinese EV giant&#8217;s latest super sedan, which is being built on the BYD e-platform 3.0. It has a new battery pack design called CTB (Cell-to-Body) that enables BYD to implement its Blade battery cells directly into the vehicle&#8217;s chassis. <p>Geely&#8217;s EV-only brand Zeekr revamped its electric hatchback: 2023 Zeekr 001. This time, the large EV comes with CATL&#8217;s latest battery pack called &#8216;Qilin Battery&#8217;. It is designed as a cell-to-pack (CTP) solution, which increases the pack-level energy density to more than 200 Wh/kg. Thanks to a more energy-dense, lightweight design, this pack can store a heft 140-kWh of energy into an all-electric hatchback.<br />
2023 Zeekr 001 will not only feature this huge battery. There are two other options with less energy capacity as well. Zeekr 001 WE version costs around €41,000/300,000 CNY and offers an 86-kWh battery and a CLTC range of 546 kilometers. There also three different 100-kWh battery versions, one with the single motor and a 100-kWh battery, the other two are equipped with dual-motor 544-HP powertrain with the same 100-kWh pack. All version offer a top speed of 200 km/h. Dual-motor 2023 Zeekr 001 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h(62 mph) in 3.8 seconds, which is better than most of the sport cars on the market right now.<br />

<p>BYD Atto 3 has become BYD&#8217;s first globally available electric vehicle. It is officially go on sale in Australia, Japan, Singapore, India, New Zeland, Cambodia, Thailand. European countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, are also expected to get their taste of BYD&#8217;s compact EV later in the 2022.<br />
Atto 3 is basically the rebadged version of the <a href="https://www.licarco.com/2022-byd-yuan-plus">2022 BYD Yuan Plus</a> launched in China last year. It has two battery options called standard and extended range, offering an energy capacity of 49.92 kWh and 60.49-kWh, respectively. BYD Atto 3&#8217;s <a href="https://www.licarco.com/news/ev-range-tests-explained-comparison-between-epa-ratings-wltp-nedc-and-cltc/">WLTP</a> range estimate is around 420 kilometers. It supports up to 80 kW DC and 11 kW AC charging speeds.</p>
<h2><strong>BYD Atto 3 European Pricing</strong></h2>
<p>BYD Atto 3 European starting price is €38,000. The first vehicles will be delivered in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Nertherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. More countries will follow in the coming months.<br />
BYD is selling Atto 3/Yuan Plus with a starting price of $20,120 in China. Extended range version only costs $21,580, or 147,800 CNY. In Australia, customers pay around $32,900 for the extended range Atto 3.<br />

<p>Deepal S7 (or Deep Blue S7) first unveiled in Guangzhou Auto Show in late 2022. First S7 vehicles rolled off the production line in May 2023. Compact SUV is being offered both as a plug-in hybrid, all-electric, and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle. It&#8217;s one of the most aerodynamic Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) on the market. Deepal S7&#8217;s drag coefficient is 0.258 Cd, it&#8217;s as aerodynamic as a sedan!<br />
The most unique feature that Deepal S7 packed with is the 12.3-inch infotainment display embedded into the front passenger sun visor. It looks perfect and saves a significant amount of storage space for glovebox. The main infotainment display is a 15.6-inch unit with up to 15-degree tilting on both sides.</p>

<h2><strong><u>Overview</u></strong></h2>
<p>Seres 3 is a budget-friendly electric SUV manufactured in China by the Chinese automaker DFSK (Dongfeng Sokon Automobile). It can produce 161 HP with its single electric motor sitting in the front. Seres 3 can go 405 kilometers when fully charged and it is in the €35,000 price range.</p>
<p>Battery electric SUV Seres 3 is available in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Turkey right now. The firm has been planning to expand its market to other European countries in the near future.</p>
<p>In China, Seres 3 sold as Fengon E3 and there is a combustion engine version of the vehicle, as well. Starting price is 139,800 yuan (~$21,500).</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Front-wheel drive Seres 3’s acceleration is very average, 0-100 km/h in 8.9 sec. Electric motor produces 161 HP and 300 Nm of torque, top speed is 160 km per hour.</p>
<p>The vehicle platform originally designed for combustion engine cars. That being said, Seres 3 could more of a BMW iX3 style EV other than a purely electric car like the Teslas. So, its driving experience is also not much different than its Chinese counterpart with petrol engine.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Seres 3’s central console is very similar to Mercedes EQA, air vents and infotainment screen look like they belong to a German car. And also, blue stitches around the edges of the synthetic leather constantly reminding that this is a fully electric vehicle.</p>
<p>Apple CarPlay and Android Auto doesn’t support by the Seres’s own infotainment system, but at least you can mirror your smartphone’s screen to the center display.</p>
<p>Mid-size crossover has 360-degree view mode, thanks to the cameras all around the car. These cameras are also capable of recording driving sessions, in case of an accident etc.</p>
<p>The floor of the electric SUV is flat, but the rear seats are pretty low, and that’s not the most comfortable sitting arrangement for the passengers.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>According to NEDC standard, Seres 3 can travel 405 km with a fully charged battery while more realistic WLTP standard gave this car 300 kilometers of range. 52.5 kWh battery can be charged with DC plugs at up to 100 kW charging speeds. On-board 6.6 kW AC charging will full load the battery in 8 hours.</p>

<p>ZEEKR is getting ready to expand its EV portfolio into European markets. <strong>ZEEKR X</strong> will be the first model to hit European shores. It has already been seen in Europe while Zeekr was testing a prototype.<br />
There are two drivetrain options available for customers looking to buy the compact Zeekr SUV. The single motor version offers 272 HP (200 kW) power, while the AWD dual-motor version has an impressive 315 kW of power.<br />
Zeekr X pricing will start from €27,500, or 200,000 CNY in China. The performance variant will definitely cost more. Zeekr claims that dual-motor version of its newest vehicle will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around three seconds! Top speed is 190 km/h for the dual motor AWD ZEEKR X.<br />
