Avatr 12 is the second EV that Huawei, CATL and Changan Auto consortium co-developed. It’s a fully electric ‘shooting brake’ designed by former BMW designer Nader Faghihzadeh. Avatr’s three Chinese shareholders invested in a dedicated EV platform with a 800-volt electrical architecture called CHN and the 12 is the second after Avatr 11 to be based on this unique vehicle platform.
Huawei is the main technology provider of the Avatr 12. It comes equipped with Huawei’s DriveONE drivetrain, which is capable of delivering up to 578-horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. It also features Huawei’s HarmonyOS operating system, ADS 2.0 autonomous driving and ADAS platform, SiC inverter, heat pump system, HD cameras, and sensors. This vehicle is a carnival of Huawei’s automotive solutions.
