Tesla has been using a brand-new electric motor in their 2021 Model S/X cars. This ‘special’ motor contains a carbon sleeved rotor which helps this magical machinery to reach higher RPMs, more than 20,000 as Elon Musk confirmed. With the help of this new motor, Plaid Model S can reach a top speed of 200 mph or 322 km per hour. 0-60 score is 1.99 seconds. It can perform an even better 60-130 mph time, 4.79 seconds!
