Chinese tech giant Xiaomi unveiled its highly anticipated second car, the YU7. While the price is yet to be announced, the electric SUV, set to go on sale in July, will cost more than 199,000 yuan (~$27,700), according to Xiaomi founder Lei Jun.

Equipped with Xiaomi-developed systems from motor to software, the YU7 is among the first vehicles to use NVIDIA’s 4 nm Blackwell-based Drive AGX Thor chipset.
Xiaomi integrates the autonomous driving chip, VCCD vehicle control system, infotainment system, and T-box communication module supporting 5G and Wi-Fi 7 into a single unit, significantly reducing the energy consumption of the vehicle’s smart systems.
Expected to rival the Tesla Model Y upon its July launch, the Xiaomi YU7 will enter mass production in June at a new factory.
