Xiaomi has officially launched the YU7, set to shake up the electric SUV market. Priced similarly to the Tesla Model Y with its 96.3 kWh LFP battery, the vehicle will begin deliveries to customers in a few weeks.
At 5 meters long with a 3,000 mm wheelbase, the YU7 is one of the largest SUVs in its segment. Xiaomi built a new factory with a 150,000-unit production capacity for the YU7. The company, believed to have started mass production, will initially deliver the YU7 Max, priced at $46,000.
