Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra, a three-motor car with 1,548 horsepower and 1,770 Nm of torque, broke records at the Nürburgring track.
The ultra-fast sedan previously achieved a 6:46.87 performance with a special carbon-fiber body version (~400 kg lighter), taking the lead among all four-door vehicles.
Featuring a 900V electrical architecture, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra stands out with its custom motors reaching 27,200 RPM, a 93.7 kWh second-generation CATL Qilin battery that delivers 1,000 horsepower even at 20% charge, and an advanced thermal management system that cools the battery most efficiently.
Priced at around $72, the SU7 Ultra reached its annual sales target of 10,000 units within two hours of going on sale. A special Nürburgring Edition of the SU7 Ultra will be launched at $113,000.
