Support from the Chinese government for heat pump electric vehicle production!

The National Development and Reform Commission included electric vehicles in its 'heat pump' plan, which spans six ministries. The statement highlighted that heat pump and smart thermal management systems, which deliver at least a 20% efficiency increase, contribute to more effective use of energy in car batteries.

Aiming to develop more advanced and highly efficient thermal management systems by 2030, the commission also called on relevant ministries to take action to support companies operating in this field.

Leading the electric vehicle transformation, China continues to push local firms to develop all subsystems—from software to semiconductor chips—to produce more efficient vehicles.
