⚡ 24M, a startup developing semi-solid state batteries using dry coating technology, has announced its ability to recycle old vehicle batteries at low cost through ‘direct battery material recycling’ method.

With its ‘Liforever’ technology, 24M solves this issue by recycling without forming “black mass” and without disrupting the structure of valuable materials, making the recycling process profitable even for inexpensive cathodes like LFP.

💰 Volkswagen, which acquired 25% of 24M in 2022, was already developing dry electrode coating technology, reducing battery cell production costs by 40%.
