#Porsche officially unveiled the electric Macan at the event held in Singapore today. Using the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, the compact SUV will be on the roads in Q2 of 2024 with a starting price of €84,000.
The rear-wheel drive 408 HP version of the electric Macan can reach 270 kW DC charging speed thanks to its 800-volt electrical architecture. The vehicle will be sold as the Macan 4, and the dual-engine 639 HP performance version will be sold as the Macan Turbo.
The vehicle also can reach a charge from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes and manages to maintain its high-speed charging performance even in cold weather in winter. It promises a range of up to 613 kilometers on a single charge, thanks to its silicon carbide chip inverter and aerodynamic body.
Macan EV was the first model to use the #Volkswagen group’s new innate electric platform PPE. It is known that Taycan, whose second version will be unveiled next month, was also developed on this platform.
