Chinese Skywell, which has left its mark on the electric vehicle market, introduced the new version of the ET5 (Skyworth EV6 II in China) model.

Skywell has made a serious hardware update with its 800V electrical architecture and heat pump thermal management system. The company has also shrunk the battery as it has a much more efficient system. Despite this, the vehicle manages to reach the same range.

The new Skywell ET5 can go from 30% to 80% charge in 7 minutes. The vehicle can also charge other electric vehicles at speeds up to 100 kW. It can be used almost like a roadside assistance vehicle.

Skywell also introduced super-fast DC charging solutions at the event, and plans to set up 400 different stations by the end of this year and 1,000 by the end of 2024. 5 countries other than China, including Turkey, were probably included in this plan. All stations will have 900V/600 kW DC units.

Apart from hardware, we see that the highly anticipated Skylink 2.0 operating system has found its place in this vehicle in software as well. This software, in which CharGPT-supported voice assistant is integrated, will serve with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support in Turkey.
