🟢#Hyundai-#Kia group is developing a sedan that will reach 800 km range and 612 horsepower on the new electric vehicle platform called eM.
🔋The vehicle codenamed GT1 was learned to have been developed thanks to a document leaked to the Korean media. It will replace the gasoline-powered Stinger and will probably be named Kia EV8. The vehicle will reach its 800 km range target with a giant battery with a capacity of 113.2 kWh.
🚗Thanks to the transition to the eM platform instead of the currently used e-GMP, efficiency will likely increase, an 800V motor will start to be used and the charging speed will increase above 350 kW. Hyundai-Kia will first introduce the eM platform to customers under the Genesis brand in 2025 and plans to launch the EV8 model after that.
