🔋 #Komatsu, the world’s second-largest construction equipment manufacturer, is launching its first electric excavator in the 13-ton class. It promises a working time of nearly 8 hours with its lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 225.6 kWh.

🟢PC138E-11, which is suitable for use in activities such as construction in the city, can perform the same job silently, vibration-free, noise-free, and emission-free with a 72.5 kW electric motor and battery instead of a diesel generator

🔌Although the charging time of the electric excavator is up to 5 hours, it is stated that there is a demand from customers for its use in urban construction as it minimizes the noise in the working environment.

⚙️The Japanese manufacturer previously launched a much larger excavator with a 451 kWh battery in the 20-ton class. The company will introduce the new model to its customers first in Japan and then in Europe.
