#NamX is the hydrogen car initiative founded by Moroccan businessman Fevzi Annajah. The company announced that it will test the concept car introduced last year.
The company will implement the first working prototype in the last quarter of 2024. It will establish 4,000 hydrogen capsule replacement points in Europe for its hydrogen-powered car. It was designed by Pininfarina and named NamX HUV.
Powered by an eight-cylinder internal combustion engine from the French company Solution F, NamX HUV made its mark on social media with its 5-kilogram hydrogen tank and replaceable capsules that can store half a kilo of gaseous hydrogen.
This system, in which hydrogen is consumed by burning it directly, unlike fuel cell vehicles, exhibits a performance similar to fossil fuel vehicles in terms of efficiency. It should be noted that NOx emissions also occur in addition to water vapor.
Not enough information about NamX HUV’s patented hydrogen capsule technology and production plan has been shared. However, if the test drive target in the last quarter of 2024 is achieved, it is predicted that it may encounter a serious pre-order demand.
