#BMW’s hydrogen-fuel cell vehicle fleet was toured around the world for testing last year. The fleet has started long-term service in South Africa for the first time.

The BMW has been working on for four years in cooperation with #Toyota. The company continues to exist as a small-scale project where different usage scenarios are tested for now.

After being tested in various parts of the world, the iX5 Hydrogen fleet of the platinum giant Anglo American Platinum, which came to South Africa for long-term tests, will operate with a sustainable transportation concept with the ‘green hydrogen’ produced by the company.

Stating that it has not yet made a definitive decision on producing a hydrogen car that everyone can buy, BMW wants to decide on a customer-oriented investment after tests that will continue for a few more years.
