The single-motor long-range Cybertruck, launched today at $69,000, hints at Tesla’s affordable models with its simplified interior.
Tesla will use features from this Cybertruck to cut costs in its affordable cars set to launch this summer:
🔴 Fabric seats instead of leather
🔴 Heated seats only in the front
🔴 Ventilation system without HEPA filter
🔴 7-speaker audio system
🔴 No rear screen, smaller wheels
Tesla’s current cheapest vehicles are the ~$40,000/€40,000 Model 3 and €45,000 Model Y. To boost production and sales volume, more affordable models priced around €30,000 will hit the market this summer.
Built on the same platform as the Model Y but leveraging Tesla’s latest production process, these vehicles will have lower costs thanks to a simplified interior.
