The all-electric sedan Luxeed S7, co-developed by Chery and Huawei, is officially open for pre-sale. Huawei developed the engine, inverter, thermal management system, software, sensors, and autonomous driving features, while Chery developed the platform, design, and production of the vehicle, which will be one of the most aerodynamic cars in its segment with 0.203 Cd.

Using ShenXing LFP cells supplied by CATL, the S7 features a battery pack designed by Huawei that is only 11.7 cm thick. In this way, Huawei and Chery, which both make the interior cabin of the sedan more spacious and reduce the coefficient of friction, claim that the consumption per 100 km is 12.4 kWh.

Luxeed S7, which will be exhibited at the Guangzhou Motor Show 2023 to be held in China next week, attracts attention with a starting price of 35 thousand dollars. With a range of over 800 kilometers, the rear-wheel drive large battery option is priced at 45 thousand dollars.
