100% Electric Chery OMODA 5 EV To Come

The OMODA 5 model from Chery, which has garnered much interest in Turkey, is now being manufactured 100% electrically!

The Chery OMODA 5, which has quickly become one of Turkey’s most popular compact SUVs, will soon be available in Turkey with an all-electric model in addition to the gasoline one. The electric vehicle’s 10% SCT advantage may apply to the vehicle, which has a motor capable of producing 150 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque.

Despite the 54% customs tax imposed on electric cars of Chinese origin, the gasoline version of the vehicle, which sells for 1 million 179 thousand Turkish Liras, will be able to be sold at a price comparable to gasoline owing to the SCT, which has fallen from 80% to 10%.

It is stated that the all-electric Chery OMODA 5 EV will offer a range of 450 kilometers at full charge with a 51 kWh battery. It will go on sale in China by the end of the year. It will enter the European and Turkish markets in the first quarter of 2024.
