After two decades of waiting Volkswagen Microbus has returned to United States! German automaker officially revealed the US-exclusive ID. Buzz LWB in June 2023. It&#8217;s the most spacious electric vehicle in the entire VW range. Customers can choose between 5,6, and 7-seat options. It also offers up to 2,469 liters of (87.2 cubic feet) cargo space when second and third rows of seats are folded. 
There&#8217;s a new more efficient heat pump for better winter range, including battery pre-conditioning feature. ID. Buzz LWB also comes equipped with a new 12.9-inch infotainment display.

The Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has opened orders for the Seal U model. For the 2024 model year, there is a significant reduction in prices, almost $3,000.

Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

He told Insider that a battery-powered truck represented a great opportunity for Volkswagen to access the electric pickup market in the United States.

According to Keogh, electrification has leveled the playing field, and all automakers in this segment are facing similar struggles with leveling up production. He went on to say that the new electric variations have the potential to upend the status quo in terms of brand loyalty and consumer preferences. He stated,
“I think a buyer would historically say, ‘I buy F-150, I buy Ram, I buy Silverado.’ Now they might be saying, ‘I’m going to buy an electric one.’
“That reset moment gives a competitive chance to come in, whether it’s Rivian or whether it’s us.”
If the company decides to go for it, the new Volkswagen electric pickup will compete with Ford, Chevrolet, Tesla, Rivian, and GMC. I believe they should go ahead with it the more the merrier.
