Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

Skywell

25 million dollar battery pack factory investment from Skywell to Turkey. Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Skywell has announced that it will invest $25 million in Turkey to manufacture battery packs. The company opened its first battery plant, which cost $70 million, in China&#8217;s Jiangsu province last year.
The Chinese manufacturer, which stepped into the passenger car industry with the ET5, which is also sold in Turkey, has been producing battery modules and packages itself since the second half of 2022. Skywell, which buys its cells from Farasis just like Togg, will pack batteries in a facility whose location is not yet known in Turkey, similar to the one in China, and supply them to markets where it sells, both in Turkey and in Europe and the Middle East.

25 Million Dollars Investment from Chinese EV Manufacturer Skywell to Turkey

Turkey&#8217;s domestic car Togg&#8217;s factory &#8220;Togg Gemlik Campus&#8221; was officially opened with a ceremony held in Gemlik on 29 October.
Turkey&#8217;s Automobile Initiative Group (Togg), unveiled the first prototypes of the domestic car in January 2019. The factory, which started being built on July 18, 2020, was completed in a short time of 2 years and trial production started in July 2022.
As of October 29, 2022, Turkey&#8217;s domestic automobile factory was officially opened. At the opening ceremony of the factory, which is called “Togg Gemlik Campus”, President Erdogan officially gave a start for mass production by unloading the first Togg C-SUV vehicle from the production line.

When the Gemlik Campus reaches full capacity, 175,000 vehicles will be produced annually. President Erdogan stated that the foundation of the lithium-ion battery factory of Siro Clean Energy Solutions, in which Togg is a partner with Farasis Energy, will be laid soon. The battery factory will be built on a land of 690 decares.
<h2>Pre-Orders Will Start in February 2023</h2>
President Erdogan announced that pre-orders for the Togg C-SUV will start to be taken as of February 2023. Togg Chairman of the Board Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu presented the pre-order document prepared with blockchain technology to President Erdoğan, who placed the first pre-order.
In addition, Hisarcıklıoğlu announced that the first &#8220;Anatolian&#8221; red model and &#8220;Pamukkale&#8221; white model that were taken off the production line will be sent to be exhibited at the Presidential Complex.

TOGG Announces the Colors of Its Electric Vehicles

Stating that Turkey is one of the strongest countries in automobile production, The Minister of Industry and Technology Varank said, &#8220;We have the capacity to produce 2 million vehicles. At the factory opening ceremony on October 29, we will see the start of mass production for TOGG, which set out to create a global brand with 100 percent local intellectual and industrial property and lay the groundwork for the Turkish mobility ecosystem. Togg&#8217;s first mass-produced vehicle will also be rolled off the line.
By the end of the first quarter of 2023, the electric SUV in the C segment will be available on the market after passing all necessary technical certification tests on an international level. Then, new models will be produced and launched in the C-segment <a href="https://www.licarco.com/togg-sedan">Togg Sedan</a>, B-segment hatchback, and MPV categories.
Togg, which not only produces electric cars but has also started to work on establishing its own charging network, will establish 600 charging stations in 81 provinces of Turkey with the Trugo brand and provide high-speed charging service.
<h2>Work on the Localization of the Engine Continues</h2>
Minister Varank stated that TOGG will be on the market with a minimum 51 percent localization rate and stated that &#8220;it will reach a minimum 65 percent locality in 2025&#8221;. Varank also stated that the citizens showed great interest in TOGG and that the company could make a plan in the coming days regarding collecting pre-orders.

<h2>SCT Rates reduced in EVs by up to %10</h2>
Pointing out that TOGG will have much more advanced technologies than other vehicles in its segment, Varank said, &#8220;We have recently reduced the SCT rates in EVs by up to 10 percent. Therefore, as the government, we have taken the necessary steps in tax policies so that our citizens can buy EVs, environmentally friendly new generation vehicles at more affordable costs.&#8221;
