Stellantis unveiled the fastback/SUV Citroen e-C4 X in Istanbul, Turkey in June 2022. It is technically an SUV, but its fastback-like sloping roofline makes us believe it is more than a typical SUV. 
Citroen uses the same powertrain inside the e-C4 X as the other not-pure-electric Citroen/Peugeots, such as <a href="https://www.licarco.com/citroen-e-c4">e-C4</a> and <a href="https://www.licarco.com/peugeot-e-2008">e-2008</a>. e-C4 X carries the same battery pack with 50-kWh capacity, as well. According to WLTP test cycle, electric SUV can go as far as 360 kilometer when its battery is full.

The Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has opened orders for the Seal U model. For the 2024 model year, there is a significant reduction in prices, almost $3,000.
Having surpassed the 800,000 sales mark in three years, the Seal U will initially come to our country only with the plug-in hybrid version. This motor option stands out with a starting price of $18,000.

The BYD Seal U Has Been Launched in China with a Price Starting at $18,040

⚡ Chinese ZEEKR极氪 announced a major update to its first car, the 001, by replacing over 2,000 components.
🔋 The 2024 Zeekr 001, available with 95 and 100 kWh battery options, now features an 800V architecture. This not only boosts charging speeds up to 350 kW but also significantly enhances the vehicle’s efficiency.
🟢 Transitioning to the new-generation thermal management system called PTM 2.0 along with the battery, the 4.9-meter electric crossover can operate efficiently in both high and low temperatures.
💨 The new 001 offers a single-motor option producing 310 kW (422 HP) and a dual-motor option capable of generating 560 kW (762 HP). Hence, it’s expected to have a starting price around $40,000.
🚗 Equipped with LiDAR sensor-based autonomous driving mode, a new infotainment system powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset, and numerous interior design changes, the exact price of the 001 will be revealed upon its release on February 27th.

⚡#BYD has revamped its popular electric sedan Han, which sold 220,000 units last year. The 2024 version of the car has been launched in China with a starting price of $25,000.
🟢The 5-meter sedan features a base model with a 150 kW motor, a 60.48 kWh LFP battery, and 110 kW DC charging support. All models come equipped with the new Level 2+ intelligent driving system, DiPilot 100, which has been in development for over 1,000 days. Additionally, the new generation intelligent suspension system, DiSus-C, has been integrated into the 2024 model to enhance Han&#8217;s comfort.

🔋The 2024 BYD Han boasts a range of 506 km (CLTC), which extends up to 715 kilometers in the version with an 85.44 kWh battery. During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

#Audi has introduced its first car developed on the all-electric PPE platform, the Q6 e-tron.
The Q6 e-tron, which is priced 10% cheaper than its sibling model, the Porsche Macan EV, developed on the same platform, stands out with both more compact and lightweight electric motors and a large prismatic cell-based massive battery.

Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

🔋Equipped with a 73/98 kWh battery and an estimated range of 500/660 km, the 7-seater SUV promises a spacious interior thanks to its 2.9-meter wheelbase.

Peugeot Introduces the 7-Seater E-5008 with A Range of 660 KM!

🔥#Peugeot has opened its fully electric C-SUV model for pre-order at a competitive price. The company will begin delivery in April 2024.

E-3008 has a 73 kWh battery, 155 kW (211 HP) engine, and a range of 527 km. The vehicle will compete with models such as #Togg T10X and #Renault Scenic this year with a starting price of €44,699.
The electric 3008, was developed on an inherently electric platform that Stellantis calls STLA Medium. It will be sold at a competitive price at the same level as the gasoline 3008.
A long-range version of the vehicle can travel 700 km on a single charge thanks to a 98 kWh battery. This model is expected to be priced above €50,000.

Stellantis becomes a partner of Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor with a $1 billion investment!
Stellantis will invest approximately 1 billion dollars in return for a 20% stake in Leapmotor according to Bloomberg.
Leapmotor and Stellantis were previously rumored to establish a partnership to develop and produce electric vehicles. Both companies will cooperate in both Europe and China if this investment materializes.

Stellantis announced two weeks ago that it would completely transfer its automotive activities in China to Dongfeng Motor. They complained that they could not compete in this giant market against Chinese companies.
Leapmotor was founded in 2015 with the support of Dahua, a global giant operating in the security camera and equipment sector. Apart from the T03 sold in Turkey, the company produces and sells vehicles such as the electric sedan C01 and the European homologated electric SUV C10, which attract attention with their aerodynamic design, chassis-integrated battery, and highly efficient electronic architecture.

It was known that Leapmotor wanted to accelerate its overseas expansion because sales figures were below expectations due to high competition in China. The Zhejiang-based company will be able to expand its sales and marketing operations to a wider geography thanks to the Stellantis partnership. The company directly targets the European market with the C10.
With this investment, Stellantis will develop affordable Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Jeep, and Fiat brand electric vehicles and offer them to customers both in China and Europe.

Peugeot&#8217;s highly awaited new generation electric car has leaked onto the internet. Using the STLA Medium platform, the C segment SUV will compete directly with the Togg T10X with its 160 kW engine option and 98 kWh battery capacity.

The E-3008, which will be offered to customers in Europe and Turkey with a more aerodynamic design at the front, draws attention with its headlight at the rear, which is thin in the middle and thickens towards the edges, reminiscent of BYD&#8217;s Atto 3 model.
The new Peugeot, which is expected to become official on September 12, will be the pioneer of many electric models of the Stellantis group using the same platform. Deliveries are expected to officially begin in late 2023 or in the first quarter of 2024.

The future EV will be built on the STLA Medium platform from the consortium, which is intended for luxury cars with a length of between 165.4 and 196.9 inches/4,200 and 5,000 millimeters and a battery capacity of between 87 and 105 kilowatt-hours with a maximum range of 700 kilometers/440 miles.
Additionally, the Stellantis STLA Medium design may employ powertrains that produce between 125-330 kilowatts/167-442 horsepower, in either front-, rear-, or all-wheel drive combinations, according to the company&#8217;s early details about its new EV platforms scheduled to debut in 2021.
The company will invest in its Rennes plant in France, including a workshop for battery assembly and a facility specifically for plastic injection molding. The <a href="https://www.licarco.com/search?_=peugeot">Peugeot 5008</a> and <a href="https://www.licarco.com/search?_=citr%C3%B6en">Citroen C5 Aircross</a> are currently produced in France, however, both vehicles will likely be replaced by this revolutionary EV, code-named CR3.
<h2>The New Vehicle Would Not Be Available In Any Other Form Other Than An All-Electric Model</h2>
It&#8217;s important to remember that the giant carmaker company also controls Opel and Vauxhall, both of which produce the Grandland small SUV, which currently shares a chassis with the Peugeot and Citroen versions. The STLA Medium platform-based all-electric replacement, which will be built at the company&#8217;s facility in Eisenach, Germany, and make its debut the following year, will also replace these two variants.
While Jeep&#8217;s following all-electric SUVs, the Recon and Wagoneer S, will be mainly sold in the United States, all of these EVs will be targeted primarily at the European market.
As part of its &#8220;Dare Forward 2030&#8221; strategy, Stellantis plans to make all of its brands&#8217; vehicles electric starting in 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2038.

Peugeot struck the mark with the 3008, which is undoubtedly one of the most popular cars in Europe&#8217;s fiercely competitive compact SUV segment. The third-generation <a href="https://www.licarco.com/peugeout-e-308">E-3008</a> is anticipated to debut later this year, despite the second generation receiving a makeover in 2020 and mild hybrid powertrains in 2023.
The latest 3008 made its debut back in 2016, and it marked a dramatic shift from the minivan it replaced. With Peugeot&#8217;s distinctive LED fangs added during the 2020 facelift, the SUV gained in attractiveness. Yet as time goes on, so do the trends in vehicles that call for higher-riding SUVs to have more contoured bodies and sportier attitudes. Peugeot will convert the third-generation 3008 into a coupe SUV just like this.
<h2>The E-3008 Will be Sportier Than  Its Predecessor 408 Fastback</h2>
The newly designed tail will be the focal point of the new model, changing the proportions and allowing it to compete with more expensive rivals. The 3008 will appear sportier than the 408 fastback despite being somewhat taller and slightly longer than it. The revamped design will also make distinguishing the 3008 from its boxier 5008 sibling&#8217;s successor easier.
The character line will be simpler and straighter, and the roofline will be more slanted towards the back. It wouldn&#8217;t be shocking if Peugeot reduced the amount of plastic used to cover the bodywork to make the SUV appear more upscale and less daring.
Like other Peugeot models, the smaller LED taillights with three-claw designs are expected to be joined by a dark-tinted trim piece. The duo-tone approach with the black-painted roof and pillars will likely be carried over to the following generation, while new wheel designs and a fresh color palette might spice up the aesthetics even more.
The future model is expected to get bigger in line with the SUV trend, leaving a more significant gap between it and the soon-to-be facelifted 2008, which has a length of 4.300 mm/169.3 inches. The length of the present 3008 is 4.447 mm/175.1 inches, and the upcoming version is expected to be significantly longer. Despite its coupe-SUV look, this size increase will improve the car&#8217;s proportions and give more space for passengers and baggage.
<h2>The New STLA Medium Architecture Will Debut With the New 3008 As Its Initial Model</h2>
The new Peugeot 3008 will be the first vehicle to ride on the new STLA Medium architecture, the company has officially announced. In the second half of 2023, the electric E-3008 will make its debut, shortly followed by the bigger and mechanically similar E-5008. Peugeot will still provide other choices in the form of electrified powertrains for some areas that are not yet fully prepared for EVs, even if the zero-emission powertrains will be the major emphasis of the new generation.
In comparison to the present EMP2 platform, which supports the Peugeot E-308 and many other Stellantis EVs, the STLA Medium architecture is anticipated to deliver increased technological capabilities on the electric front in terms of power output and range.
