The Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has opened orders for the Seal U model. For the 2024 model year, there is a significant reduction in prices, almost $3,000.
Having surpassed the 800,000 sales mark in three years, the Seal U will initially come to our country only with the plug-in hybrid version. This motor option stands out with a starting price of $18,000.

#Audi has introduced its first car developed on the all-electric PPE platform, the Q6 e-tron.
The Q6 e-tron, which is priced 10% cheaper than its sibling model, the Porsche Macan EV, developed on the same platform, stands out with both more compact and lightweight electric motors and a large prismatic cell-based massive battery.

Audi, using NCM811 cathode cells produced by Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in Germany, states that the larger cell form facilitates battery production. Additionally, it emphasizes that the newly developed smart thermal management system enhances battery life by continuously conditioning the battery and reduces charging time.
Regarding the engine, the company claims a 50% increase in efficiency compared to the first-generation electric Audis and states that it can produce more power with smaller motors by increasing power density by 62%. It should be noted that the Q6 e-tron uses an asynchronous ASM motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous PSM motor at the rear, differentiating it from the electric #Macan.

⚡ Chinese ZEEKR极氪 announced a major update to its first car, the 001, by replacing over 2,000 components.
🔋 The 2024 Zeekr 001, available with 95 and 100 kWh battery options, now features an 800V architecture. This not only boosts charging speeds up to 350 kW but also significantly enhances the vehicle’s efficiency.
🟢 Transitioning to the new-generation thermal management system called PTM 2.0 along with the battery, the 4.9-meter electric crossover can operate efficiently in both high and low temperatures.
💨 The new 001 offers a single-motor option producing 310 kW (422 HP) and a dual-motor option capable of generating 560 kW (762 HP). Hence, it’s expected to have a starting price around $40,000.
🚗 Equipped with LiDAR sensor-based autonomous driving mode, a new infotainment system powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset, and numerous interior design changes, the exact price of the 001 will be revealed upon its release on February 27th.

⚡#BYD has revamped its popular electric sedan Han, which sold 220,000 units last year. The 2024 version of the car has been launched in China with a starting price of $25,000.
🟢The 5-meter sedan features a base model with a 150 kW motor, a 60.48 kWh LFP battery, and 110 kW DC charging support. All models come equipped with the new Level 2+ intelligent driving system, DiPilot 100, which has been in development for over 1,000 days. Additionally, the new generation intelligent suspension system, DiSus-C, has been integrated into the 2024 model to enhance Han&#8217;s comfort.

🔋The 2024 BYD Han boasts a range of 506 km (CLTC), which extends up to 715 kilometers in the version with an 85.44 kWh battery. During today&#8217;s event, it was emphasized for the first time that the car features a silicon carbide chip inverter and an 800V architecture. However, the charging speed of the largest battery being limited to 155 kW indicates that the entire high-voltage system is not yet ready for 800V.
🚗In the performance version of the car, a dual-motor powertrain capable of producing 517 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque is used, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

#Volkswagen has officially introduced the station wagon version of the ID.7, which replaced the sedan Passat last year.
With a drag coefficient of 0.235, the fully electric station wagon offers a range of up to 685 kilometers on a single charge, thanks to its aerodynamic design and the much more efficient APP550 motor.
Expected to hit showrooms in the summer months, the ID.7 Tourer will find buyers in Europe for less than €55,000.

Volkswagen Unveils Electric Station Wagon ID.7 Tourer with a Range of 685 KM!

New footage of the Volkswagen ID.7 electric wagon model has been revealed.
The Passat, which for many years was the most popular vehicle sold in Turkey, is no longer available. In January at the start of this year, the Volkswagen ID.7, a replacement for the sedan car that gave way to an all-electric variant, was revealed.

The news and images of the ID.7 electric wagon model of the German giant Volkswagen were eagerly awaited. Although the manufacturer tried to hide the photos of the model with various methods, the images managed to spread rapidly in the media this week.
The front and rear parts of the wagon model seem to be highly similar to the sedan model. It is among the remarkable points that the changes are in the roof of the vehicle and in some parts of the rear trunk lid.

Although the wagon model has a longer roof than its counterpart sedan, it is expected to have a similar powertrain and interior design in the single-engine with 282 horsepower. Volkswagen offers the ID.7 sedan with 77 and 89 kW battery packs and a range of 430 miles/692 kilometers.
As it is understood from the leaked photos, the vehicle seems ready for sale. However the company has not yet made an official statement on the subject. It seems likely that the model will go on sale early next year.

Announcing in a press release that the electric Passat will offer a range of 700 kilometers. It will come with a giant 15-inch infotainment system screen. The German automotive giant also states that the cabin can be heated and cooled much faster. It is expected to achieve this with the help of a heat pump, which will probably also do the thermal management of the battery. Because in the previous electric vehicles of Volkswagen such as ID.4, due to the lack of a heat pump, it took a long time to heat the cabin with old-generation PTC heaters in cold weather. The range loss was up to 30% because the battery could not reach optimum conditions.

<h2>Introducing Volkswagen ID. Aero</h2>
Volkswagen ID, whose drawings were shared recently. The Aero concept was officially introduced. The point in question was showcased as a preview of the electric sedan model. It will be released by the German manufacturer. It is close to production.
According to WLTP, not many details have been announced about the new car. It is also expected to provide a driving range of up to 385 miles/620 kilometers.
Volkswagen ID. Aero&#8217;s LED headlights, light strips extending to the logo, and honeycomb-patterned taillights are among the first striking details in its design standing out with its coupe-style silhouette.
When we look at the Aero from the side, besides the strong shoulder line, the glossy black roof and side mirror caps that harmonize with the pillars draw attention. But it is worth noting that the most striking point here is the door handles. Because Volkswagen preferred to use illuminated touch surfaces instead of ordinary door handles in the concept.
The production version of the ID. Aero will be sold first in China in the second  quarter of 2023. Subsequent cars will also come to the European and North American markets.
