<p>Overview</p>
<p>Hongqi E-HS3 is a mid-range fully electric SUV, manufactured in China by FAW Car Company. Modern looking E-HS3 will produce 155 horsepower with its single electric motor option. AWD version of the E-HS3 has 310 HP and it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds. Both of this FWD and AWD version use the same battery pack that has 52.2 kWh energy capacity, this is enough for a range of more than 400 kilometers on a single charge.</p>
<p>E-HS3 is the first electric SUV that Hongqi brand launched. Chinese luxury car brand did manage to create an outstanding vehicle, especially on the interior side of the E-HS3. Hongqi has been selling this compact SUV since February 2019. Chinese government owned carmaker will keep expanding its business in Europe and Middle East. One of the biggest rivals of the E-HS3 are MG ZS EV, SERES 3, and Kona Electric. Hongqi E-HS3 will also be available to Turkish customers later in the 2021.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Hongqi E-HS3 has two drivetrains available to order, single motor FWD and dual motor AWD. Hongqi uses a single 155 HP PMS motor in FWD version. On the other hand all-wheel drive E-HS3 can produce 310 HP and  680 Nm of torque. Two powerful electric motors give E-HS3 AWD a sport car-like performance, 0-100 km/s in 6.0 seconds.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design</u></strong></h2>
<p>Huge grille with blueish accent color is the centerpiece of the Hongqi E-HS3’s front end. The side and back of the vehicle are pretty usual, car looks like any Chinese SUV available in the market right now.</p>
<p>Unlike the Hongqi HS5 and HS7’s lluxurious interiors, E-HS3 comes with technologically advanced but very decent looking interior setup. It has a fully digital 12.3 inch gauge cluster, a HUD head up display that helps driver easily check on speed, consumption and other stuff.</p>
<p>E-HS3’s one of the most unique interior feature is Bose Personal Plus speakers mounted in the headrest, allowing 360-degree sound experience.</p>
<p>There is a 10.1 inch infotainment touch screen, below that there is another touch display for climate control. Seats of the vehicle does have electrically adjustable back support. Thanks to flat floor and spacious interior, back row seats positioned and angled very similiar to a sedan vehicle. E-HS3 offers a much more comfortable drive to its passengers compared to other SUVs in this segment.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>Single and dual motor options of the electric car equipped with a 52.5 kWh battery pack. That gives drivers up to 407 kilometers of range.</p>
<p>Hongqi E-HS3 does support 100 kW DC fast-charging, 15 minutes is enough to increase its charge from 30 to 80 percent. Combined energy consumption of 13.6 kWh is the official NEDC data provided by the manufacturer.</p>

<p>Ford revamped its popular all-electric SUV Mustang Mach-E with a 72-kWh battery from CATL. Chinese battery maker provides Ford with prismatic LFP cells. It&#8217;s good for the price and safety of the vehicle.<br />
2023 Mustang Mach-E now supports 150-kW DC charging, compared to 115 kW previously. Mach-E Standard Range can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 33 minutes, 13 percent faster than the old Mach-E.</p>

<p>Kia e-Niro is an affordable electric SUV which has been on the market since 2019. It has two battery variants: e-Niro 39 kWh and e-Niro 64 kWh. Big battery option also comes with a more powerful engine producing 204 HP. Niro EV with the small battery pack only produces 136 horsepower.</p>
<p>The 2022 Niro EV -as Kia America calls it- is only available with the 64-kWh battery, starts at $39,999. Newest and cheapest e-Niro in the Europe has a price around €35,000. It is rebadged with the new Kia logo, but exterior-wise nothing has changed in the new year model.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>e-Niro has a single electric motor located in the front. 39 kWh version can produce 136 HP, while bigger battery model has 204 HP. It is enough for getting from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds with the e-Niro 39 kWh and 7.8 seconds with the 64-kWh version. Torque figures are the same at 295 Nm.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Kia e-Niro has been using the same exterior design since its launch in 2019. It has a textured and also fully closed front grille, charging port is also located in this area.</p>
<p>Kia used hard plastic materials when designing the lower parts of the interior. It feels cheap and doesn’t look sturdy. It can be acceptable for a price tag equivalent to ordinary gas-powered Niro’s, but battery powered e-Niro is not cheap and spending all those money to find cheap materials on the inside will definitely disappoint some drivers.</p>
<p>Base model e-Niro 2 has an 8-inch infotainment display, while upper trims e-Niro 3 and e-Niro 4+ comes with a 10.25-inch touch display. These two trims also include wireless charging pad for smartphones. 7” digital gauge cluster and Android Auto &amp; Apple CarPlay support are standard for all trims.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>Both e-Niro 39 kWh and e-Niro 64 kWh support 100 kW DC charging and they can be charged from 0 percent to 80 percent in 54 minutes. The new Kia e-Niro 4+ is the first model to include an 11-kW AC on-board charger, it takes only 7 hours to fully charge the car. Other variants only have a 7.2 kW charger which is enough to get from 0 to 100 percent charge in 9 hours.</p>
<p>e-Niro can travel 289 kilometers with a fully charged 39 kWh battery. Range estimates increase to around 455 km when you choose the 64-kWh battery option. e-Niro is not the fastest or the most comfortable car, but it does offer quite a good range for the price.</p>

<p>All the window trims and door handles are black now instead of chrome on the earlier models. Only the front and back Tesla logos still have the chrome finish. It has wider tires covered with even wider fenders. The fog lights matched with the Model 3 and Model Y. Front bumper lips and back bumper diffuser changed as well.
