<p>AEHRA brings together a number of experienced automotive executives, including former Lamborghini designer Filippo Perini and its chief engineering officier Franco Climatti, who serves as an engineer at Ferrari for 32 years.<br />
AEHRA Sedan will be an ultra-premium performance vehicle. Italian luxury EV startup is on track to deliver first sedan vehicles by 2026. The AEHRA SUV will be launched a year earlier.<br />
The Sedan is going to come equipped with a tri-motor AWD powertrain, which will produce up to 806-horsepower. There&#8217;s no performance rating yet, but the 0-62 mph acceleration will be in the 2-seconds range.<br />
AEHRA&#8217;s partnered up with Austria-based Miba for developing 120-kWh high-performance battery packs. The Sedan is expected to deliver a range of 497 miles, or around 800 kilometers. It&#8217;ll support 350-kW ultra-fast DC charging and bi-directional charging features.<br />

<p>BYD Seal U is a rebadged version of the Chinese EV maker&#8217;s &#8216;<a href="https://www.licarco.com/2023-byd-song-plus-ev">Song Plus</a>&#8216; model. It&#8217;s defined as a D-segment sports utility vehicle with its 4,785 millimeters long body. There are two battery options available for purchase; standard range (420-km WLTP) with a 71.8-kWh LFP battery and long range (500-km WLTP) with a larger 87-kWh pack. XXXXX<br />
The Seal U is the sixth vehicle (first five vehicles are Tang, Han, Atto 3, Seal, and Dolphin) that BYD exports to European countries. Even though BYD describes Seal U as a D-SUV, it&#8217;s a direct rival to Volkswagen&#8217;s ID.4, Skoda&#8217;s Enyaq iV, Renault&#8217;s Megane E-Tech, and other electric C-segment SUVs. Seal U&#8217;s biggest advantage is the more capable infotainment system with 4G/5G connection, DiLink operating system, and third-pary app support.<br />
Chinese automaker will release more details regarding Seal U at IAA Mobility in September. Seal U deliveries will begin in Q4 2023.<br />

<p>BYD&#8217;s entry-level EV e2 upgraded to Chinese automaker&#8217;s latest EV architecture: BYD e-platform 3.0. It&#8217;s now not only comes with the &#8216;Ocean X Face&#8217; front design but also carries the BYD&#8217;s more energy-dense Blade Battery pack and the highly efficient (89 percent) 8-in-1 electric powertrain that combines both inverter, electric motor and other components into a single unit.<br />
There&#8217;s a new pair of displays inside the vehicle as well. The new 8.8-inch digital gauge cluster and the 12.8-inch (the base model gets the 10.1-inch screen) rotatable infotainment display are powered by the company&#8217;s latest DiLink operating system. 2023 BYD e2 also offers 4G connection and keyless entry with the NFC-based phone key feature.</p>

<p>BYD gave its popular electric SUV Song Plus EV a proper facelift in 2023. The all-new Song Plus EV features aggressive design lines both on the front and the back of the vehicle. On the inside, the &#8216;Song&#8217; logo is no longer with us. Instead, BYD puts its own brand emblem onto the steering wheel.<br />
The new Song Plus EV is based on BYD&#8217;s e-platform 3.0 featuring a cell-to-body battery pack and 8-in-1 electric drive unit. Thanks to these two features, BYD&#8217;s electric SUV is now more efficient than ever.</p>

Now, a more robust, longer range, and more powerful version of the vehicle is coming to the market: <strong>Wuling Hongguang MINI EV Gameboy</strong>.<br />

MINI EV Gameboy has a more powerful electric motor producing 41 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 17,53 seconds. The battery pack is also much bigger at a capacity of 26.5-kWh. Hongguang MINI EV Gameboy offers up to 300 kilometers of range, according to <a href="https://www.licarco.com/news/ev-range-tests-explained-comparison-between-epa-ratings-wltp-nedc-and-cltc/">CLTC</a> test cycle.<br />

<p>BYD Dolphin is among the best selling electric vehicles in China since its launch last year. It&#8217;s finally available outsite Chinese carmaker&#8217;s home country. European pricing starts at €29,990 for the Active variant and goes all the way to €37,990 for the Dolphin Design. There four versions available for order; Active, Boost, Comfort, and Design.<br />
The first two variants comes with 44,9-kWh LFP battery, single electric motor, 60-kW DC, and 7-kW AC charging support. Boost version comes with an upgraded 177-HP motor and a slightly reduced 310-kilometers of WLTP range. Active, on the other hand, can get more out of its decent battery with up to 340 km range.<br />
Dolphin Comfort and Design variants carries a much more powerful 204-HP (150-kW) electric motor and 60,4 kWh battery pack. The range is 427 kilometers and DC/AC charging rates are higher as well, 88-kW and 11-kW respectively.<br />
All BYD Dolphin variants comes equipped with a energy-saving heat pump system, which is essential for Europe&#8217;s severe winter season. There is a 12.8-inch infotainment display powered by BYD&#8217;s own DiLink software. It supports keyless entry with NFC-enabled smartphones. Design variant also offers a huge panoramic glass roof, wireless charging for mobil devices, and sportier animal-free leather seats.<br />
BYD Dolphin deliveries in Europe will start in the end of 2023.<br />

<p>Kona Electric 2021 is the new facelifted version of Hyundai’s mid-range electric SUV. It has about the same price tag with Tesla Model 3 SR+. But Kona Electric will give you more range, 415 kilometers thanks to its 64 kWh battery pack.</p>
<p>Hyundai has been producing the Kona Electric since 2018, and yet last year was very struggling for the all-electric SUV because of battery issues causing accidental car fires. But 2021 model does not affected by any ongoing recalls and battery fire warnings.</p>
<p>2021 Kona Electric is available in United States, UK, Australia and most of the Europe. Small SUV will also be coming to Turkey in late 2021.</p>
<h2>Exterior and Interior Design</h2>
<p>Hyundai Kona Electric looks very similiar to its combustion engine rivals. The ordinary SUV exterior design and the simple interior setup are not as unique as Tesla’s design choices.</p>
<p>With the new 2021 model, Hyundai switched to a smoother look on the front of the Kona Electric. Exterior styling-wise, the new front look, new alloy wheels, reshaped bumpers are the main differences between 2021 and 2020 Kona Electric models.</p>
<p>2021 Kona Electric includes a new 10-inch fully digital gauge cluster display, apart from the last year’s infotainment screen with the same display size and a new, a smoother software. New version of the Kona Electric also has the Harmon/Kardon sound system instead of Infinity.</p>
<h2>Performance</h2>
<p>There is only one electric motor option for 2021 Kona Electric, front wheel drive motor unit produces 204 horsepower and 395 Nm of torque. It can go from zero to 100 km per hour in 7.6 secounds, very decent for this price range.</p>
<h3>Is Kona Electric AWD?</h3>
<p>Hyundai Kona Electric is not an AWD (all wheel drive) vehicle. It has only one drivetrain option, single motor FWD. But Hyundai has an AWD all-electric vehicle available right now: Hyundai Ioniq 5. This new battery electric car has two AWD version with Standard and Long Range battery packs.</p>
<h3>Can Hyundai Kona Electric Tow?</h3>
<p>Kona Electric is capable of towing up to 2,800 pounds or 1.270 kilograms. But Hyundai does not recommend towing with the vehicle, because getting rear ended while towing could damage the battery pack and cause a fire. Drivers should keep that in mind and must be very cautious when towing with the Kona Electric.</p>

<p>Hyundai completely redesigned its popular B-SUV Kona. It&#8217;s now an EV-first vehicle model. Previous versions of the Hyundai Kona Electric were simple ICE-to-EV conversions.<br />
The all-new Kona Electric is not only more powerful, it&#8217;s also more efficient than the last year&#8217;s model. Long range version with the bigger 65.4-kWh battery pack offers up to 490 kilometers of range. But charging speed hasn&#8217;t changed. It still supports 100 kW DC charging, which is enough to get the charge level from 10 to 80 percent in 41 minutes. Thanks to improved thermal management, new Kona Electric will preserve its high charging rates and travel longer distances in cold temperatures.<br />
