<p>BMW iX3 is basically the electrified version of the German automaker’s classic midsize SUV X3. It has a rear-wheel electric drive unit that produces 286 HP and 400 Nm torque. 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.8 seconds. Range of the vehicle is 460 kilometers when battery is full. Top speed is electronically limited to 180 km per hour. But because of its electric motor delivering the maximum torque instantly, BMW iX3 has a way better acceleration performance than similarly sized SUVs on the same price range.<br />
BMW iX3’s production started in 2020, at the same BMW facility in Germany where ordinary X3 manufactured. BMW just swapped the combustion engine with an electric motor, put a battery pack on the floor and changed almost nothing from the X3. Exterior and interior design have not changed, only added some blue accent color (frozen grey in some color options) around the vehicle and bumpers to remind customers that this is a purely electric SUV.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Rear-wheel drive electric motor on the BMW iX3 can produce 286 horsepower and 400 Nm torque. It can go from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 sec. Some road tests show even better results!<br />
BMW iX3’s grip and traction on the road is phenomenal. Part of the reason for that is battery pack of the vehicle sits really low down, and it lowers the central gravity significantly lower than a standard SUV. As a result, iX3’s driving performance is very outstanding.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>BMW’s classic kidney shaped front grille is almost fully closed in BMW iX3, the reason is that electric cars doesn’t need much air cooling compared to combustion engines. By closing front end of the vehicle, automakers can also make EVs be more aerodynamical and consume less energy.<br />
One of the most sophisticated feature of the BMW iX3 is the acceleration, start/stop engine and other futuristic UI sounds composed by the famous artist Hans Zimmer. These special sounds will definitely increase the EV driving experience.<br />
iX3 drivers can enjoy 10.2-inch full-touch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. BMW integrates its newest operating system into the iX3 which allows voice and gesture controls over the multimedia features. There is also a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster screen behind the steering wheel and an inductive charging pad in the lower part of the central console.<br />
For seating setup, German carmaker does offer animal-free seats as a more environmentally friendly option. Passenger seats are pretty usual among BMW cars, two USB-C ports and climate controls are available to back row passengers. They can also recline their seats for a more comfortable driving position.</p>

<p>BMW iX3 has an 80-kWh battery pack. Thanks to 150 kW DC charge support, charging the vehicle from 0 to 80 percent in 34 minutes.</p>

<p>No, BMW iX3 does not come with a dual motor, AWD option. iX3 only has a single motor rear-wheel drive setup available in 2021.</p>

<p>BMW iX3 costs around 59,730 pounds in the UK and 67,300 euros in Germany. In China, where iX3 also being built, price of the electric SUV starts from 399,900 yuan. It is available to order in almost all of the European countries. But BMW said iX3 will not coming to the United States.</p>

<p>AEHRA brings together a number of experienced automotive executives, including former Lamborghini designer Filippo Perini and its chief engineering officier Franco Climatti, who serves as an engineer at Ferrari for 32 years.<br />
AEHRA Sedan will be an ultra-premium performance vehicle. Italian luxury EV startup is on track to deliver first sedan vehicles by 2026. The AEHRA SUV will be launched a year earlier.<br />
The Sedan is going to come equipped with a tri-motor AWD powertrain, which will produce up to 806-horsepower. There&#8217;s no performance rating yet, but the 0-62 mph acceleration will be in the 2-seconds range.<br />
AEHRA&#8217;s partnered up with Austria-based Miba for developing 120-kWh high-performance battery packs. The Sedan is expected to deliver a range of 497 miles, or around 800 kilometers. It&#8217;ll support 350-kW ultra-fast DC charging and bi-directional charging features.<br />

<p>Aehra, Milan-based all-electric luxury car brand, unveiled its first vehicle in October 2022. Italian firm simply calls it the &#8216;SUV&#8217;. It&#8217;ll most likely become one of the most aerodynamic SUVs in the world.<br />
Aehra SUV&#8217;s battery pack will be supplied by Austrian Miba Battery Systems and it&#8217;ll store around 120-kWh of energy. Aehra aims to start delivering luxury EVs as early as 2025 in North America, Europe, China, and of course Middle East.<br />

<p>Mercedes EQB is a 7-seater electric SUV made its debut in China. It is the electrified version of the GLB. Thanks to its 2.8 meters long wheelbase, EQB offers quite a lot of space on the interior.</p>
<p>The electric SUV currently has only two AWD options: EQB 300 4MATIC and EQC 350 4MATIC. Mercedes will also unveil front-wheel-drive versions of the vehicle for the European countries. Dual motor all wheel drive EQB offers up to 292 HP and 520 Nm torque. Top speed is limited to 160 kilometers per hour. It can be charged with 100 kW DC plugs, reaching 80 percent charge takes only 32 minutes.</p>
<p>Mercedes EQB will be produced in China for local market, and in Hungary for the global market. Customers from United States will also be able to purchase the new 7-seater Mercedes. EQB is coming to China in 2021, while European and American customers will have to wait until 2022 to buy this long electric vehicle.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>EQB has two all-wheel drive options with different performance figures. EQB 300 4MATIC has 228 HP and 390 Nm torque, whereas the more powerful EQB 350 4MATIC can produce 292 horsepower and 560 Nm torque; it only takes 6.2 seconds for this model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The less powerful version EQB 300 needs 8.0 seconds to complete the same acceleration.</p>
<p>Both versions of the EQB are electronically limited to a 160 kilometers per hour top speed. Thanks to its battery heating pump and the advanced software, EQB will always be prepared for a quick run.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Similar to Mercedes EQC and more affordable Mercedes EQA, EQB is also based on an existing Merc which is the family SUV GLB. Main selling point of this new electric vehicle is the 7-seater option. It even comes as standard in China. Generous space on the interior and high cargo capacity when the seats folded are the biggest pros of this long electric SUV.</p>
<p>Distinctive boxy design of the GLB series also applied to the new EQB. It has a front grille that completely closed, in order to increase aerodynamic efficiency. There are tons of chrome details all around the exterior if you choose AMG Line trim. Both head and taillights are designed as full length lightbars, creating a very recognizable front and rear face.</p>
<p>There are two 7-inch displays on the inside, one acting as a digital information panel and the other as an infotainment screen. 10.25” screens are optional in the EQB. Steering wheel is also very useful with its physical and capacitive buttons, you can adjust most of the features with those controls while only looking at the road and checking the digital gauge cluster for more.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>Mercedes EQB comes with a battery pack that offers 66.5 kWh useable capacity. 100 kW DC charging is supported. Mercedes says EQB can maintain the maximum charging rate for a very long time thanks to its heating pump. Getting from 10 percent to 80 percent of charge will only takes 32 minutes. 11 kW AC charging allows a 5 hours 45 minutes full charge time.</p>

<p>ZEEKR is getting ready to expand its EV portfolio into European markets. <strong>ZEEKR X</strong> will be the first model to hit European shores. It has already been seen in Europe while Zeekr was testing a prototype.<br />
There are two drivetrain options available for customers looking to buy the compact Zeekr SUV. The single motor version offers 272 HP (200 kW) power, while the AWD dual-motor version has an impressive 315 kW of power.<br />
Zeekr X pricing will start from €27,500, or 200,000 CNY in China. The performance variant will definitely cost more. Zeekr claims that dual-motor version of its newest vehicle will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around three seconds! Top speed is 190 km/h for the dual motor AWD ZEEKR X.<br />

<p>MG MARVEL R is a mid-range electric SUV designed and manufactured by SAIC Motors in China. It is one of the first vehicles that can be connected to a 5G network when available.</p>
<p>There are two drivetrain options avaiable; standard MARVEL R offers two rear electric motor, quite unsual but very powerful setup. It has 186 HP and 410 Nm torque. MARVEL R Performance comes with three electir motor, one on the front and two on the rear axle, producing 288 horsepower and 665 Nm torque. Both versions are electronically limited to a top speed of 200 km/h.</p>
<p>70 kWh battery pack is standard across all trim levels. It takes 43 minutes to charge this battery from 5 percent to 80 percent. Maximum DC charging rate is around 90-100 kW. There is also an 11 kW on-board AC charger, enabling electric MG to be fully charged in around 7 hours.</p>
<p>MG MARVEL R is currently available in China, Netherlands, and a few other European countries. Pricing of the standard MARVEL R starts at €40,000, tri-motor all-wheel drive performance version costs €10,000 more.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Marvel R Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>MG offers two drivetrains for MARVEL R. Standard version comes with two electric motors located on the rear axle. It is a rear-wheel drive system producing 186 HP and 410 Nm of torque. Thanks to its unique two rear motor drive system, MARVEL R can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.</p>
<p>All-wheel drive MARVEL R Performance version has three electric motors, producing a total of 288 horsepower and 665 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 200 km per hour, same as the regular MARVEL R.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Marvel R Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>MARVEL R designed on a vehicle platform that its sole intention is to create pure electric cars, unlike MG ZS EV. As a result, electric SUV provides a spacious interior and a more aerodynamically efficient exterior design. MG takes a more luxurious design direction with its newest vehicles and MARVEL R shows that change very well.</p>
<p>Front end of the vehicle resembles a very sleek look, sharp lines across the hood, C-shaped headlights and the front lightbar put there to guarantee young customers’ desire. Rear face looks a lot like the Turkish EV startup TOGG’s mid-range SUV. Chinese automaker did use a lightbar in the rear as well.</p>
<p>MARVEL R has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and a huge 19.4-inch vertical infotainment touch display. You can handle most of the features via big screen, but angled design is not ideal for someone in a usual driving position. Other than that, MG did a pretty good job with MARVEL R’s interior.</p>
<p>18-inch rims, two zone climate control, and power tailgate come as standard, but 9-speaker BOSE sound system, wireless charging pad for mobile devices, and ventilated front seats are optional.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Marvel R Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>All MG MARVEL R models have the same 70-kWh battery pack. Dual motor version offers 402 kilometers of range according to WLTP cycle. AWD MARVEL R Performance has a slightly shorter range at around 370 km. Both versions support 100 kW DC charging, 5-80% in 43 minutes. V2L (vehicle to load) feature allows car owners to power their appliances, mobile devices, and tools at up to 2500W power rate.</p>

<p><a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.licarco.com/cars?filter=honda" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Honda</a> lacks behind its competitors when it comes to the electrification of its vehicles. The only pure electric model Japanese firm offers as of today is the supermini <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.licarco.com/honda-e" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Honda e</strong></a>. This is very problematic for the Japanese automaker, because of the carbon emission regulations that keep getting severe in Europe and China. But they have a quick solution to this: <strong>Honda e:NS1</strong>, the electrified version of the latest Honda H-RV.<br />
Honda e:NS1 is a conversion project managed by Dongfeng Honda, Japanese firm&#8217;s joint-venture in China. Instead of developing an EV-dedicated vehicle platform and building an efficient electric car, Honda simply swapped the petrol engine for a smaller, lighter electric motor, and attached a battery pack (supplied by CATL) underneath the existing chassis of the 2022 Honda H-RV. This is probably the most sloppy electric conversion job we have ever encountered. But it works like a charm for the Japanese carmaker.</p>
<h3><strong>Honda e:NS1&#8217;s Unique Features</strong></h3>

e:NS1 is based on Honda&#8217;s e:N OS operating system that powers the large 15.1-inch vertically-oriented infotainment display inside the car. Rear-view mirror and gauge cluster are also LCD displays, to enable a much smoother riding experience. Compact EV offers some app control features as well, such as mobile key app, virtual key share, Find My Car, etc.<br />
There is a face-recognition system inside the cockpit of the Honda e:NS1, increasing the overall security of the vehicle.<br />
Honda&#8217;s first electric SUV is capable of offering V2L, which is very practical when it comes to powering house appliances and mobile devices. V2L feature is optional though. There is also a pre-conditioning feature for the battery that speed-up the charging process beforehand.<br />
