<p>MG 4 Electric, also known as Mulan in China, is a pure electric hatchback first unveiled in June 2022. It is being built on a next-gen vehicle platform, allowing MG to use bigger batteries while keeping the weight low. Thanks its lightweight body, MG Mulan can be able to run from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 sec.<br />
According to SAIC-owned MG, its latest EV will feature industry&#8217;s thinnest battery pack, with a height of only 110 millimeters (4.3-inches). This special battery uses vertically placed lithium-ion cells, to increase battery-level energy density further.</p>
<h2><strong>MG4 EV Launch Date</strong></h2>
<p>SAIC will start building MG4 EV / Mulan in the second half of 2022. Electric hatchback will first be delivered to Chinese customers. MG 4 Electric&#8217;s European launch is due in Q4 2022. There will be two options with two different battery packs, 51-kWh and 64-kWh respectively.</p>

<p>Mercedes EQC is a D-segment electric SUV launched in 2019. Rather than creating an all-new platform and building an electric car from the scratch, Mercedes took existing petrol engine GLC as a base, swapped the ICE engine with two electric motors and attached them to an 80-kWh battery.</p>
<p>It has an all-wheel-drive powertrain that can produce 408 HP and 760 Nm torque. According to WLTP test cycle, EQC can provide up to 462 kilometers of range. The 80-kWh battery supports 110 kW DC charging. It takes 40 minutes to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent. Charging was very fast when the EQC first launched on the market, but it is not as fast as Hyundai Ioniq 5, or Audi Q4 e-tron.</p>
<p>Mercedes EQC is being produced both in Germany and China. It is available in most of the Europe, Turkey, and China. Base model EQC 400 4MATIC priced at around €66,000 and sporty trim EQC AMG Line costs €7,000 more.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Mercedes EQC is 700 kilograms heavier than the GLC, but extra weight doesn’t negatively affect its performance. It can produce 408 horsepower and 760 Nm torque. It takes only 5.1 seconds to get from 0-100 km/h (62 mph).</p>
<p>EQC handles like a Mercedes, but it weighs 2.5 tons and center of gravity isn’t that low compared to BMW iX or other electric SUVs. As a result, the car’s rolling around when taking the corners, a little bit of understeering as well.</p>
<p>Top speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h not only for safety reasons, but also keeping the energy consumption at a certain level.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Even though it’s based on the GLC, Mercedes EQC has a new front grille, slimmer headlights, lightbar style taillights, and a new dashboard design. Front of the vehicle clearly redesigned to show that Mercedes didn’t just swap the engine and put a big battery pack into an existing car. In fact, the new front design is going to be the distinctive face of the Mercedes’s electric vehicles. Both Mercedes EQS and the compact SUV Mercedes EQA have a very similar nose job.</p>
<p>EQC comes with a 12.5-inch infotainment touch display. It has the latest sat-nav system that supports AR navigation. It basically shows you where you should go with virtual arrows on top of the actual footage of the road. If you’re not sure which way to go, just look at the infotainment screen and it will point you where you should turn.</p>
<p>Front and back seats are adequate. Back doors can be opened quite widely, getting in and out is very convenient. Sunroof isn’t as long as the Tesla Model X’s glass roof though.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>Mercedes offers only one battery pack option for the EQC. It has a useable capacity of 80-kWh. When fully charged, EQC can travel up to 462 kilometers.</p>
<p>110 kW DC charging is supported, 10% to 80% of charge takes 40 minutes. There is also a new liquid cooled on-board 11 kW AC charger. EQC owners can fully charge their vehicles at home in seven and a half hours.</p>

<p>Xpeng P7, Chinese automaker&#8217;s popular alternative to Tesla Model 3, got a mid-cycle refresh. The all-new 2023 Xpeng P7i looks almost identical to the previous version, but it&#8217;s not short of new features.<br />
First of all, P7i comes with a brand-new 86.2-kWh battery pack supplied by CALB. Compared to CATL-made old 81-kWh pack, this one offers a unique safety feature that prevents Xpeng P7i to catch fire when the battery got damaged. It also enables Xpeng to offer higher DC charging rates at 170 kW, compared to 90 kW.<span style="visibility:hidden;">.</span> </p>

<p>Fiat 500e, or the Fiat 500 Electric is an affordable electric hatchback. It comes with two battery options: 24 kWh and 42 kWh. There also three body variants available: standard Fiat 500e with three-doors, Fiat 500e 3+1, and Fiat 500e Cabrio with soft-top.</p>
<p>Standard 500e vehicles only come with three-doors. 500e 3+1 does include a half door on the left side which allows passengers to access rear seats more easily. And the third variant, Fiat 500e Cabrio offers a retractable soft top roof, ideal for hot summers.</p>
<p>Pricing of the small electric Fiat starts at €23,500 with 24 kWh version. Most expensive version of the Fiat 500e is the Cabrio which priced at around €30,000. Final pricing can be different in your country. Be sure to check out Fiat’s official website and your local dealerships for a quote.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Performance</u></strong></h2>
<p>Fiat 500e 24 kWh has the least powerful motor which produce 111 horsepower and 199 Nm torque. It is enough for a top speed of 137 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 9.5 seconds.</p>
<p>500e 42 kWh, 500e 3+1 and 500e Cabrio offer 118 HP, 220 Nm of torque, thanks to a little more powerful front-wheel electric motor. 0-100 km/h run in 9 seconds straight, top speed electronically limited to 150 km per hour.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Design and Features</u></strong></h2>
<p>Front end of the vehicle almost fully closed, in order to increase its aerodynamic efficiency. There are tons of 500 logos all over the exterior and interior. Chrome details are also very eye-catching.</p>
<p>Top part of the dashboard comes with different kinds of trims. Infotainment display sits on the dash like a little tablet computer. You can connect your phone via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Standard display size is 7-inch, but upper trims will include a wider display with the same functionality. 24 kWh battery version, on the other hand, does not include any infotainment display. Instead, you get a smartphone holder that should make up for the lack of a central screen. 7-inch digital gauge cluster comes standard with all 500e models, though.</p>
<p>There are wireless charging pad and two USB-A ports inside the electric hatchback. Seats and steering wheel all are manually adjustable. There are lots of head and leg room, unlike other two-door hatchbacks.</p>
<h2><strong><u>Range and Charging</u></strong></h2>
<p>There are two batter options available for the Fiat 500 electric: 24 kWh and 42 kWh. Small battery option can only run 180 km on a single charge. Considering Fiat 500e is a city car, it will be enough for short commutes. If you need more that, 42 kWh options can be much more suitable. Large battery variants will get a 320 km range, according to WLTP test cycle.</p>
<p>Fiat 500e 24 kWh only supports 50 kW DC charging, when you choose a 42 kWh battery option rapid charging rate will increase to 85 kW. 24 kWh battery can be charged from 0 percent to 80 percent in 26 minutes, whereas 42 kWh battery can get to the same percentage in 35 minutes.</p>

BMW iX3’s production started in 2020, at the same BMW facility in Germany where ordinary X3 manufactured. BMW just swapped the combustion engine with an electric motor, put a battery pack on the floor and changed almost nothing from the X3. Exterior and interior design have not changed, only added some blue accent color (frozen grey in some color options) around the vehicle and bumpers to remind customers that this is a purely electric SUV.</p>
